At this early stage I wouldn't even be expecting Xstreet payment info to be fully in place. That's all server-side stuff, it's not all going to work just because the first big public beta of a future viewer is out.

Did you set your rating to PG, Mature and Adult in the drop down box in your preferences for the RC viewer? If you did that then the options for search should not be greyed out.

What "person" rearranged the pie menu in this rc? Why? What justification is there for changing that around?

These guys have more problems than klingdon realizes. He seriously needs to polygraph the entire staff for corruption and do monthly drug tests to weed out the defective humans.

In the RC 1.23. Goto Edit / Preferences / General / Rating and change from the default PG Only to PG, Mature and Adult. When your avatar account is A-validated (AV or PIOF) you can change to the high rating and can go everywhere and Search for everything with RC 1.23.

At least some Non Verified Account are getting to Arapaima currently with the RC viewer.

But some supposedly verified one seem not to be able to.
They should be able to even wit the old viewer.

I think those avatars are mistaken. A couple of days ago I tried to tp my NPIOF, non-Age Verified alt there using a 1.22 viewer she wasn't allowed in, receiving some message about maturity settings. Then she bought some Linden$s from Slex using my credit card, relogged, and tp-d there with no difficulty.

It appears as Mature to me, too, with the 1.22 viewer; I assume that's just how the different viewers are able to display it at the top of the page.

Well my sim does not show up at all in a PG search when i search for its name directly or search by approved keywords. Yet many other places do show up for those same keywords. So my sim is completely invisible to the PG seach and for some reason others are not.

A PG search with the new client for the word "slaves" returns results for a place with BDSM in its name as well as many colorful and banned keywords in their description.

**Edit** Okay I figured out why. Many places do not have the mature content box ticked of course. Glad that while following the rules I get to be invisible. Thanks LL. I really mean it.

The muzzle is derrived from an actual product that was never marketed, because of Linden censorship and the poor way they have handled age verification issues.

Yes I believe that the Arapaima hub is mistakenly currently allowing unverified in by tp at least this evening.

I switched back and forth between both viewers,
several times on all my accounts.

Right now all my accounts can get to Arapaima whether verified or not Using the RC viewer.
But only the PIU can get the with the current one.
The PIOF can not and the "Xstreet paid account" can not with the current one.
I do not have an Aristotle verified one.

It seems that the update of status to verified by PIOF or Xstreet payment is a bit spotty sometimes requiring a ticket.
Which seems to sometimes be read if submitted under "Manual Verification.

Am a resident of second life, soon to be affected by changes being forced upon
this world-wide online community, by its gods, known as Linden Labs.

History repeats itself time and again. Human nature is the root cause and solution.

Do believe Linden labs is in the process of a re-branding exercise, at the expense
of its residents, its present Terms of Service, its motto "Your World. Your Imagination".

Some might say "It is just business", a great way to allow any corporation to do anything it wishes.

Would respond that all dictatorships start imposing their will on a small segment of the population,
before they move on to greater and greater violations of human right.

Perhaps the residents of second life are considered pixels or cartoon characters, very realistic nonetheless,
yet, every resident is a human being protected by rights, privileges, and freedoms.

Linden Labs has been on an express quest to institute an "Adult Content" filtering and segregation system. Linden Labs(LL)

calms that there is a "Small Percentage" of residents that wish this feature. But instead of providing a "Small Area" for these

people to hide from the adult content, LL has instead decided to turn the SL world upside down by instituting

1) A segregated continent were all mainland parcel holders will be banished to should they wish to continue providing adult

service
2) Instituted Adult Search filtering without publishing a list of those key words that would flag a classified ad as adult
3) Requiring "Age Verification" without having a tested and Universally acceptable method of verification
4) Once Verified, a user Still needs to Turn On adult content in order to get a complete and fair listing of classified
5) Provided No way for a resident to have Both Adult material, and Non-adult material in the same parcel or sim without having

the whole sim flaged as adult
6) Provided no Clear and definitive definition as to what constitutes "Adult Content"

Look: it all started with words in 1924 by H.'s manifest. Then from 1933 on with ghettos and segregation. Fascism is not difficult to understand. Fascism is just disrespect. Nothing more, nothing less. Was done by US Americans. South-Americans (Chile/Argentinia and some more) Chinese. Russians, different religous and non-religous systems all over the world. With ever the same reason: disrespect. Was done in any history and is still alive in present. In present it is called Neo-Fascism wich exists allover the globe more or less. A daily look into the worldwide newspapers gives an impression. Any sort of dictatorship is still alive. It has ever to do with discrimination of lifestyles, no matter wich. It is logical that we won't be killed here. But how LL acts, how and wich principies they use, is an attribute of fascism. Ever heard of the Madagascar plan, considered by the Nazis in an earlier phase of their regime? Google it. It has an Wikipedia entry. Read it and look what LL does with Ursula. It is the same principie. Censorship additional is even fascism.

Fascism we know as left-winged and right-winged fascism. Made, for example, by the Mao regime, the Stalin regime, and by south african regimes, by US regimes, by segregating and killing natives in masses, by slavery, by discrimination of black people until our times, by the McCarthy regime and whatever regimes since the globe is turning under the feet of people. Fascism is existent since a million years, seen in light, in this or that way.

Social biotopes in whatever environment can only be created civilisized and peaceful by free choice. To establish social biotopes LL can do that in a non-fascistic, non-reactionary, non repressive way in full accordance with us. They can make non pushing offers to the PG and to the Adult scenes, but they cannot force matured 18+ people, like we would be some kind of idiots, slaves, third class population. We are equal paying customers of a tech service. As soon LL starts to make kind of culture politic in here, they are on thin ice, because they are not legitimated to do this.

They do attack lifestyles and freedom of speech and expression. For that we have a vocable: fascism. It does not matter if fascism comes camouflaged as business, politic, religion or just stupidness. Fascism is fascism, no matter behind wich mask it comes. In the meaning of disrespect. And it starts ever with words. Even Auschwitz and Treblinka started with words. Then with zones. Then with buildings. Than with deportation and displacement of people. Then with the known results.

We have to resist the beginnings. This is our obligation as humans. Even while no one will die by fascism in this"game", but we have to defend modern human principies, even as customers and creators of a social environment and especially because it is a cosmopolitan environment and no private obscure sect!

To let it further be a social environment we cannot accept any sort of discrimination.

We cannot accept that a private company acts in this way. The population on the grid WAS equal until today. But now we have a different situation: some groups are now *positive discriminated*, for example: .com. .org, .edu groups and some groups are now *negative discriminated*, for example: artists, specific lifestyles and other creative individuals and scenes and sub-scenes. And at the brown bag meetings, disabled people were discriminated, because not allowed to get typed answers instead of only voice.

Even the belated transcripts are not complete and only fragments.

And we have a discrimation of languages and constitutional freedom aspects of other nations.

LL is international positioned, but it acts only local and LL is isolating actually all customers from non-english speaking countries and avoids to deliver all necessary informations about the changes in time to them too. Even that is fascism. Point.

This is not the case in their own town San Francisco, where all and everything has the freedom to live their styles open - I point again on the different Folsom street events where even kids and international visitors are free to watch the scenes and the laissez faire of the city itself.

The population of SF would lynch LL-managers if they would start such a thing in that city, in case LL would have something to say there.

And by the way: where on that planet do we have an "adult continent" and an decreased alphabet? Where?

So, ok, it has business reasons, this new delirium of LL, but: no business on earth has a right to disrespect individuals or groups of people and lifestyles. We are no products in here. We are literally the producers! We *made* that environement and we feed the company. We do welcome each and everyone to expand and to cosmopolitize Second Life more and more because that benefits us and LL in one, but only under one condition: we want same equal respect for us!

To shrink our rights, our freedom, our creativity as customers and so called residents in exchange to increase the comfort and the rights of other groups is in fact discrimination and to have a word for this: it is fascism. This cannot be discussed away.

LL needs to behave and to find a civilisated way to manage that with us, or they are confronted endless with the stamp: Fascists!

I will do immediatly the same in direction of the austrian quality newspaper The Standard wich reports frequently about web themes and also about second life since the hype started in 2006. Even german and austrian main televisions have some themed broadcastings once a week about IT and web-themes where I try to place these informations in translation via e-mail to the responsible people there. With a bit luck, they make a story about it. There is no guarantee for, but it is worth a try!

Personally I have no huge issue with the AC move, in fact in someways I look forward to it. My land holding is 42,000sqm or there abouts.

Anyway because my only fear was sharing a sim with laggy clubs etc, I decided I'd try and own an entire sim by the time the change happened.

I managed to find one that was willing to rent it until I had sold my land so I could afford to buy it.

Cool, everything going to plan.
