Sounds to me like they no longer care what the current residents think.

I still want to see what this new application interface looks like. I want to know if it is going to be cardboard cutouts instead of a true 3D immersion.

It seems, that only people wich driving a kind of Bukkake Bliss thing since the year snow before jesus christs birth, or similar locations, will have a right (and an obligation) to move.

Others can stay...with reduced rights on mature land...with a cutter in their heads...and never knowing when and why an AR-hammer will fall on their heads...an AR-hammer wich forces them then to move...

Is that the last statement on who gets to qualify?

At a minimum any land listed in search that failed the mature word filter on the day that the policy was announced should qualify. Any that failed after that date should qualify by negotiation.

I wonder if it is possible for someone that knows about these things to gather that information? Would it be possible to gather all the mainland descriptions and size and run it past the filtered word list to calculate the actual percentage of land effected. That would be genuinely useful information for this discussion.

Couldbe was asking about a ticket regarding verification, not moving. There is no way for a basic count to submit a ticket to have their account verification checked or updated, because the only tickets accepted are for age verification via hard copy.

Anyone who has Mature land, has sexual content on their land, and who is concerned about the probability that the G-Team will incorrectly take action on the basis of an invalid AR has no choice but to move. Unless LL proposes to do something like provide free swaps for any current landowner who gets ARed on their current Mature parcel, indefinitely.

You've made many reasonable suggestions as to what will be considered "adult content", but none of those suggestions are reflected in the posted definitions and the posted policy. Will we be able to treat your comments as authoritative?

Tonight Blondin had the roughest office hour I've seen since Robin had to defend the VAT introduction. People were angry, some of Blondin's answers may well not sound great when looked at in the transcript but credit to him for trying to keep up.

That's why I'm asking for clarification in a forum better suited to reasoned consideration and timely responses.

Which is very telling, IMHO, considering a) if you get Abuse Reported, it can earn you a suspension of your account, and b) considering the FAQ for land owners in the SL Support KB, states:



"You may also be required to have a clean disciplinary record."

So, could a number of suspensions resulting from AR's result in a Resident being denied even being able to continue to hold land in SL, after following this advice? Interesting.

Damn I guess all we can do still is wait, I think its the wait thats really pissing people off now. People just want to say fine lets get on with it then, give us some clear deffinitions some clear answers and let us do our thing instead of dancing around like a bear who's sat on a bee hive.

Not many people are happy with it, hopefully they will see that and give us some consessions or limit some changes, time will tell I guess. I cant really comment on this anymore its starting my anxity up too much, just wait and see again, wait and see.

I think the concept of telling people they are not going to be swapped out but they can't remain in a certain business unless they pay long time friends of LL staff or LL staff via alts huge sums of money for ursula parcels regardless of when they started is instant embarrassing lawsuit bait. In fact it is extortion, is illegal, and should be handled by men with guns and badges. So Klingdon best get his ducks in a row and forget the auction and just let anyone that wants to move swap out end of story. The practice of LL allowing it's buddies to openly practice blatant extortion needs to end.

If it means there is nobody left outside of ursula then the question of adult content percentage has been answered and the entire slate of executives need to explain how the numbers could be so wrong and pay for their errors with their careers. If only 2 to 4% move then fine. But if it well over 2 to 4% then we need to be seeing some executive heads roll.

Well I guess we will NEVER see the Hong Kong Cavaliers on the grid then, because sure as heck the overthruster will be adult....

I am *really* beginning to like the idea of substituting "linden" for every scrap of profanity in every ad and land description on mature mainland.

Can I use that in a classified ad?

I think that telling people they aren't going to be swapped out but they can't keep their current lifestyle without paying FIC land barons huge sums of money is at least as big a problem, and one that Linden Labs is far less likely to have sympathy with if Blondin's comments are on target.
