The (supposed) trueness all about them showed looks as the same muddled up behaviour as as so long nobody is deeply grieved about the usage of weapons what is also a adult content. It seems that LL doesnt is interested in protecting of minor/childs to the usage of weapons. Guns are okay but sex is bad?! In this context they must need to move to Ursula also all this ppl who like to play with guns or similar toys.
Something is wrong how they did handle this cause. Nobody has been talked about wepons concerning the ongoing discussion about adult stuff. What is more harmful? Guns or sex?!!!

It would far easier in this context to move the kids to Ursula because they are in the minority and a full part of sl seems to be huge enough for their needs.

Its simply the extremes there we can not understand how some countries handle their behaviour about sex and weapons. Guns are good but sex is bad? Strange, it seems to be that some have their brains turned around 180 degrees in their heads. It lacks to strike a healthy balance between the two extremes. It seems to be that the US specially like shooting more then sex. Thats my opinion about and not personally.

Right, if the goal is correct search results for your maturity rating just about any shopper who has PIOF will commonly leave their prefs set to adult. So things get cleaned up how? Plus now if they get routed to an infohub they will wind up in an adult one, even if they are not looking for adult content.

How much more would it be reduced with an Adult continent than by some method of reflagging parcels in Mature areas to Adult combined with the access controls in the 1.23 viewer?

There's room to adjust the policy. Possibly don't allow a parcel within 256 meters of a PG region to be flagged as adult. PG and Mature regions could be shuffled around to make more sense rather than the current situation.

Perfect? Not really, but neither is only moving part of the adult content off the current mainland.

I'm not arguing that this is necessary, I'm arguing that IF, for the sake of argument, you accept Meta Linden's assumptions, THEN you have to physically separate all Mature and Adult sims.

That is, IF they are allowing Mature and Adult sims to be adjacent in private estates, THEN there's no point in separating Mature and Adult on the mainland. Or contrariwise, IF you separate them on the mainland, THEN you should separate them on estates.

That is, regardless of whether their policy makes sense, it's not even consistent.

The problem with using alternate terms is that they are only as useful as their commonness of use.
In other words if the customer does not know to use the alternate term they still wont find you.

And is still labeled beta.

The Knowledgebase link on the verification page leads to old info,
based solely on the Aristotle beta.

There is no indication there of other methods to verify.
And the parcel access information only reflects the current choices.

Additionally the only other option listed to verify is to send hard copy RL documentation.


Effectively this prevents many people form verifying since most do not read the forums.

With the implementation imminent this needs to be updated ASAP!

I hate to say this Darien, but I read the whole post and it doesn't sound out of context to me at all. LL's opinion only matters in that they can physically change the world however they want, but our opinion trumps theirs if we chose to leave, take our money with us, and they are left with an empty virtual world.

I see there's 20 more posts, so here's my general reply. Read the plan, read the facts. It's not hard to understand.

Stop taking it personal, it's not. LL knows you're mad, but That has never stopped them before.

For people who are taking about being treated with respect and being open minded, I see a lot of close-mindedness, and disrespect. Ursula is not a Ghetto, it's not a Concentration camp, all of that is in your head. In a world where we have no place, It's a place we can call our own. Its a home, and I do not shy away from it, I embrace it, as something precious.

People talking about how there's 80% npiofs, yes those are all the millions of inactive accounts which will never return. Most of the active people have payment info on file, don't fall for the red herring.

You can call me what you will, but I'm determined to make it through this, and make sure my customers and those I care about make it through too. I want everyone to. But I can't take you there, you have to do it yourself. Yelling in a forum never solved or accomplished anything. Decisive Action and understanding do. But it has to be the right action, for the right reasons. A lot of people are afraid to speak up about their agreement for fear of being labeled 'sellout' or what have you, just as I have been.
