You really would be more effective in getting your opinions accepted if you would follow through on requests that you explain them.

They are too afraid....they know somewhere between 80-90% of its customer base would tell them where to stick there proposed changes.

It's a shame that the "Bible belt" is trying to determine users from all around the world, (some of which come from more liberal countries) in what this platform should contain.
However, it takes two to tango......and LL are equally at fault for even entertaining this idea.

LL cares only about 2 things.....money...and good PR in the media.

I don't think it is worthwhile to try to reason with the majority of people posting here. My comments are addressed mostly to Lindens and others who are not posting because the environment is so hostile.

I agree the Lindens have probably already made up their minds. It is true that I enjoy pointing out how foolish and shallow most arguments here are. I have work to do tho. You guys have fun. : )

If people can no longer understand the difference between fantasy and reality, between abstract and concrete, between photo and flesh, then we have a serious social problem. To confuse a metaphorical toaster made of prims and particles with a real toaster made of steel and plastic - to confuse an avatar with a flesh and blood human being - is, quite frankly, a sign of mental illness.

My impression is that the threshold beyond which something may become unacceptable for the purposes of PG rating is set quite low. I've no problem with that. However, so that no offence is caused, as an estate owner, I would like a resident to have the option to classify himself PG and myself as an estate owner the option of excluding such a person from my land.

In relation to the threshold between adult and mature, I think the definition is difficult because it all depends on context. Isn't the test whether in its particular context the item or activity would be unduly offensive to a reasonable, mature resident? For example, a sex bed in the open adjacent to a linden highway would applying that test be unduly offensive whereas a sex bed tucked away elsewhere on land would not.
