If Linden Lab yields to the sex industry, this is a pornography website, and business, nonprofit and education have no place here. We should trick their new censoring system with all creativity we have, to make them as crazy and confuse and mad and unusable as possible. (Wich is the same they do with us, so it will be the right answer!) We should do really mad things, complete nonsense, hacking and infecting the censor and rating system with all available alphabetical and semantic tricks including to give all functions complete different meanings and the same to all sorts of acting!. RP can be renamed in "philosophical seminar" or whatever. We can give all "adult" or "mature" things totaly harmless names and also other descriptions for their functions and vice versa we can rename a skateboard for example "penis" and a coffeecup "pussy" and an umbrella "nipple". Same with editable poseballs. New forms, new names, new description of functions. What said Torley ever in every video? "Be creative"..., hehehe And all acting we can call for example "neo-tango" or "alternative sport", whatever. In other words: we can make a whole big mess with their plans, instead of waiting passive until we are not longer able to be active. Because, at the moment we are in lemming-status. This has to end. Let's show them what we have learned as prim- and alphabetic- and acting- transforming-fantasy- artists all the years. I love this idea and personally I think it would be a great thing to start doing. "Ride my skateboard for all I care!" - That could turn out to be a very popular phrase. There is no problem. Announce your meetings in events. Interested people will drop in. Any time new ones or fans or both. Same what all musicians and other artists doing in game. Buy/rent a place, announce your events and all is good. And your island is the safe haven for this. Water around, no sex, no nothing, and one person makes security in case a griefer drops in. This is the normal way to do things here. |

It's a whole collection of regions and places inside a virtual world, that people can visit based on their own preferences, there is nothing stopping anyone from enjoying SL in whatever way they want, that's the beauty of it! Note that that isn't what the Lab are doing at all; nothing in the recent announcements said anything about making PG versus Mature more defined. This is about making a new third category, so far completely undefined, and perhaps moving all the content that fits into *that* category off of the existing mainland. But if you're concerned about the distinction between PG and Mature, none of this is about that at all; there's been no suggestion that that line would be drawn any more sharply, or that the enforcement would be made any stronger than it is now. _____________________

Talk about a gross exaggeration. Perhaps if you weren't so hellbent on porn you'd realize that not everything you type into the search engine has to be porn related. When I first joined this game I spent hours and hours and hours and hours (and hours) exploring and searching out neat things, seeing sims and people and amazing places; never once did I see anything sexual. Until I looked for them. Stop using your biased search results as an argument to try and say that SL is all porn, it isn't, and anyone who spends 10 minutes searching can see that. |

You really clearly haven't been to many places in SL then, I own and run a sex club in SL and get up to some of the kinkiest things you pure mind can imagine, and there is heaps of places in SL that are very clean friendly places with no sex at them. Ever been to Sanctuary Rock? That's a lovely place with rock and metal music, it holds contests and other things, and it's a lovely place to hang out and have fun. No body is there having sex, no escorts or whatever. I've been gokarting around in SL at places, or been to RP sims which are PG. Try going to the SL Vore Club, they don't even allow sex there at all, banned completely. Nobody is forcing you to look at it! There is hundreds or even thousands of other places you could be and if you don't like any of those then you can own your own land and never see it at all. _____________________
