Jack - Why allow child avatars on Zindra?

Apparently short non-humans are allowed in Zindra, so long as they're abused and called vermin when they get there.

Which was already against the ToS. Kid toons are already not allowed to be there, or do that, and if you ARed them (as I hope you did) they would have been instabanned. Adding additional restrictions will not stop people who are already ignoring the most draconian restrictions in place.

I routinely build against an edge of a parcel. If my neighbour does that too and chooses the same edge guess what? There are touching prims!

Since such activity was occurring on Linden-owned land, everybody involved in such an event was deliberately, knowingly breaking TOS by being involved in this behavior. Why did you stay there and not file abuse reports against everybody involved, including yourself?

Linden Lab has already taken the strongest possible stance against such activities by completely banning them.

You are not asking for stronger rules against this already illicit activity, you are asking that the rule be expanded to include non-sexual content. That is not reasonable.

Linden water does not always = Linden owned parcel. I have lots of Linden water on my privately owned parcels. Since there is a dock involved in this scenario, I am assuming that the escort club property is beach front, and includes some water as well.

Whether it is Linden Land or not, linden water means open air public lewdness. Which is still ARable.

Side note: LL water should not be privately owned. How many parcels do you see on other mainland continents that extend into the linden roads?

Not in adult regions.

Linden waterways are determined by parcel line. Anyone with land at the right altitude and teraforming rights can make their entire parcel Linden water. (^_^)

But, if Lias' claim is as it sounds, the event was over a Linden owned parcel, protected land, and a direct violation of the CS as it's documented. So, if this is true, her "common decency" doesn't extend to obeying documented rules that she doesn't agree with. (^_^)

Also remember that, unless things have changed since the announcement, terraforming is not permitted on Zindra.

No terraforming in zindra city, that doesn't mean no terraforming anywhere in zindra.

Thanks for the clarification Argent. While I admit I was not looking for it, I have yet to see it on occupied parcels though.

Have they actually clarified this? They changed the community standards and removed the paragraphs about public indecency.

Right now, the rules on visible mature/adult content are missing. What is stated on the blog is that protected land contains safe content and we have inworld examples such as the signs in the River infohub. (^_^)

But, yeah, the clarifications over private, public, visible, and concealed content are all missing from the documents given to us so far. (>_<

About the only thing that's clear right now is PG content as it hasn't changed. But people are still willing to debate that too. (=_=)

We also have examples of the opposite in Mosh (the Penis Parcel visible to the protected land train station).

Almost everything on Zindra now is within sight of some sort of protected land. Any rules would certainly address placing objects on protected land, not visibility from protected land.

Which would render the protected land unsafe for PG eyes Millia.

It's not whether the adult players behind the kid toons can see it, it's whether the kid toons are shown in proximity to it. And it's not whether protected land allows kids, it's about whether ANY builds (even ones in a skybox megaprim sphere four kilometers from any porn) allow kids.

"PG eyes" should be on the Teen Grid anyway.

The CS does not say sexual content cannot be within eyesight of child avatars, or can't be visible to them.

Argent, you are the one that indicated those rules are not written as of yet - Your reciting your version of a rule in Zindra that does not exist yet. I am happy to see that Linden Lab sees their own bizarre statements do not apply to Adult Zindra and have chosen to retire that statement while they develop something more fitting. This conversation they allow to go on without honoring all of those lock requests helps us show then the err of their ways when it comes to Zindra community rules.

I have a question. If kid avatars should not be allowed on Zindra, then should an adult man or woman that has a prim baby attached to them also not be allowed on Zindra? It's all about apearances right? Shouldn't matter if it's an avatar or some prims.
