We are being chased by Grid Bugs, the Master controll program has sent light cycles out to retrieve our datadics and TRON ... sorry I mean Phill has a chance at rewritting the MCP by inserting his DISC into the slot ...... however at this time we are unable to find the on swtich ... service will resume as soon as we are able to remove Phils head from his socket END OF LINE>>>>>>>>>> Corrected  _____________________

Umm...we kinda fucked up again...we can't login to test the fix and are currently working to fix that issue. Logins should be back up shortly...but probably not. |

In all my years as a Systems Administrator this has to be one of the worst cases I've seen of service delivery, 6.5 hours and counting in European peak time is absolutely abysmal. Surely they have testing grids before rolling out patches and going omg we've noticed another issue lol ... thank God they have no Service Level Agreements or they would all be collecting their P45's lol

Oh for the love of ... first people complain that Linden Lab doesn't do enough testing to ensure each update goes smoothly .... Then they complain when they take the extra time to fix issues with what is possibly the biggest update to the system.

They are gonna rush it out becasue its a totall fuckup... And we are going to end up with inventory loss ..... money missing.... you name it ... and the blog will say,,,,,, "Oppps *shrugs shoulders*" " Mom called me for dinner so I had to turn my computer off" _____________________

We all know LL don't give a damn, if they did thay'd have the guts to stick their collective hand up and go "mea culpa, we screwed up" and rewind the grid side code back to the yesterday's version and have another week to review and fix their buggy code.

I'll give them weeks to shut down if they get it right. The problem is why do they consistently have to update when they expect to be back online when it is consistently 2 hours after the original deadline. You'd think by now they would learn to give a bigger window for breathing space. It's really starting to make me look a lot more closely at their overall operation. |

You don't get it Solar. I'll give them weeks to shut down if they get it right. The grid is down, they're updating and testing the systems to see if the fixes took and if there are any further issues that may have been missed. 2. This is their update schedule - deal with it or move on. |
