I also find the most shocking and continual negativity towards male avs in SL. One is damned before one's mouth has even opened - out come all these tired old saws as listed here by Sling, without taking a moment to discover whether they actually apply to the person driving the av/character.

Agrees. I have found this to be true. I have also found that when I am my male Alt, I get the most obnoxious, unasked for "male bonding" behavior directed at me if I'm in a place where there are female Avi', that is very like what I witness in real life as a rl woman. "Whoa dude, look at the boobs on that one!"

I don't see where the OP says anything about wanting a SL to RL relationship.

All I see is her wanting a SL relationship/partnership.

I also don't see where she is asking for a deep, meaningful relationship. She just wants a SL relationship where the guy shes dating wont cheat on her, that will be exclusive with her and isn't already spoken for.

Well, look at the situation. Men are told over and over again that they are the bad types, that they "think with their dick" and so on. Then they are told that having sex is something begrudged by an indifferent woman who, if they should disagree with her, will leave with 50% of their life's assets.

See, Trout, it's a great idea but the whole SLaid thing that happens AFTER the successful pickup is a deterrent for many of the women here. Great tho it would be to finally prove, once and for all, that women know how to pick up women better than guys do
