LL ineterprets TOS any way they like. Don't bet your account on what you want to believe that they mean. LL is strictly pg, and in the end that trumps all.

As I understand it, Marianne ageplays 100% of the time, she does it to a T, and this has made her name something of a word in SL so it would be unreasonable to expect her to turn up as anything other than her usual twelve-year-old av.

Her invitation to the opening was, I am sure, designed to make the point that many residents including myself just don't get, which is that the new 'Adult' continent does not necessarily mean wall-to-wall triple-X shenanigans and there is no reason why we should not carry on as more or less as usual.

The trouble with this understanding is that some are unhappy that they must make the unnecessary move to Zindra because their choice of living in a tolerant 'Mature' environment no longer holds water. Some, like myself, are equally unhappy that the very tricky question of proximity between ageplayers and sexplayers and the potential repercussions in RL has not been satisfactorily addressed.

The new continent appears to be little more than a palliative to corporate sensibilities at best, which I do not personally begrudge the Lindens, but it would have been useful to include a mechanism for keeping ageplayers and the more overt sexual content well apart.

If content isn't suitable to be viewed by Joe Soap from Coca-Cola, it is not suitable to have an ageplayer anywhere in the vicinity. I don't see why the 'Mature' rating should not be sufficient to the needs of sincere ageplayers who do not see their role as being limited to the squeaky clean ambience of a production by Walt Disney or the Children's Film Foundation.

Well maybe not odd to Linden Lab, I assume they did not expect outrage - but people have reached their breaking point -especially having to give up their land and having to deal with an ineffective TOS. Scandal in Zindra will not be good for any of us. We need Linden Lab to protect the Adult Content providers from being caught up in these child avatar scandals.
