well duh..it would say that if it was a mature continent to..
we already know it's gonna say that on the sim ..but the part you are not getting is sim owners are the ones that are going to set the ratings with their content..

you are looking at the name adult and thinking it is the rating..it's not..according to LL it is not..it is the level of content for that continent and each sim can have different ratings from pg mature all the way up to adult but they will all be labeled adult..i don't have to go there..it's in the rules..i posted..

When a noob puts on a prim penis and runs through a mall we think he is stupid. The same can be said for someone putting on a child avatar and running through a Continent clearly marked Adult. It is further compounded because they had to adult verify and knowingly go to this Adult area to get there in the first place.
Go to any sim in Zindra. Click WORLD on your tool bar. Then scroll down to REGION. Then click the last tab to the right. ADULT rated owned continent by Governor Linden. That will not change.

The sim owner will always be Governor Linden
So we can put adult content on any ov Linden Owned mainland labeled Adult? Even if some child avatar (for some reason) decided to set up a child avatar business there? Doesn't sound right.

The content is what matters. If the content is Adult, it's inappropriate for child avatars. If there's no adult content in a parcel, there's no reason anyone shouldn't be able to go there, so long as the owner of the parcel allows it.

But the road in front of the child content will always be Adult- So a master can walk his naked chained slaves down a adult road past a playground run by a child avatar in Zindra.

Playgrounds in Zindra are a red herring. It's not going to happen. It's real businesses that matter. Businesses that either have some mature content which will require them to relocate to Zindra to continue to advertise, or non-adult businesses (clothing, hair, avatars and the like) who choose to locate in Zindra.

let me try to explain it like this forget there is any lable on the continent..it is just a continent for now..
a blank slate with infohubs and sim and a road

with the way the search is set up now..the way we are going to be found is by our sim content and activities in those sims..

if we have a free sex club and lots of free sex there..we would be rated at an adult rating

mature content and activities will give us a search rating of mature

same thing for pg and it's things..

thats how the search will rate us.by the content and activities cause not everyone will be able to see all the searches unles they want ..

this is also how all the sims in SL will be rated no matter where they are..

the continents PG..well we know that max type of content we can have on there is pg stuf and activities.. because it is a pg continent..

Mature continent ..it can have pg sims and mature sims but to tell them apart they are rated by the content in the sims pg with it's content making that sim pg
and mature making those sims mature rating..

but we cannot have adult in mature or pg because they don't reach that high on the rating because adult can only be on private islands or Adult continent..which can have pg.mature and adult ratings..

adult continent sets the standard for the highest rating a sim can have in that continent..


thats it pg everything with be ladled pg..
mature everyone will be labled mature
and adult everything will be labeld adult but the ratings are sim by sim not coninent by continent..

Yes, it's a bit obsessive and sad arsed. It's a shame there isn't proper care for people in this condition and I guess the net is the one place they have to "go".

Unfortunately they are seemingly very proudly threatening innocent peoples accounts and rights and probably really need a full account ban themselves.

well i just wanted to try this different approach and see f that helps..
i'm not trying to argue with anyone..i just am trying to explain how these ratings work right now..i think it is confusing because the lables can make it that way..

i can see how easy it would be to mistake seeing adult everywhere and thinking you have adult..but the new way the search is makes things confusing for lots i think..

sweety, you and others have explained it so succinctly that even i got it. it just those who have a dislike for kid avs that are using zindra as their rallying point. trust me, it will blow up in their faces.

I've just found it's madness and threat so off, it's been hard to ignore.

I agree it won't work, it's to silly and LL will not take well to false ARs or their incitement.

If anything Lias and some of the others have been a great ad for their cause and it's motivations and intentions.

I think 'so' is not going to go over well when the pictures of the slave master with naked, leashed slaves walk up a Adult Linden road in Zindar past a child playground with child avatars at play.
Residential mainland owners with Adult Content will be relocating also - not just business. And as it stands now - these child avatars also.

It already has - in the Herald on the internet. We hope that Linden Lab can figure out how a adult Linden road can co-exist with a child avatar roadside business.

ever think for a second that ll might not allow such a thing that close to the roads? that they may just put a pg rating on those very roads so they can put in a busline( i immediately thought of that when i first saw the roads) and or trolley system so people can travel around the sim? did that thought ever cross your mind at all?

That scenario will never happen, so it's a moot point.

OK - if this is the way you all see it - they moved Adult Content so it would not be everywhere and if you encounter it then you went looking for it in ONE continent. But PG content can co-exist in the same sim marked Adult. Understood. But does that justify child avatars going into adult-rated Sims? Yes, I know there is no content yet. But after the adult content in these sims are in place - then I ask the OP's question - why are child avatars allowed to enter Adult Content sims?
