In both auctions I saw, slaves received hefty percentages of the price, I forget the exact number. Many were not owned when auctioned.

Although the major interest of those involved appeared to be sexual, in some D/S cultures in SL there is completely asexual slavery, simply for discipline or even (in Gor), for housework.
