As it sits right now the "majority" doesnt engage in SL sex. Therefore, I think its a good sign that is the true feelings of the "community" No offense intended, but that shows how little you understand human nature, Jackson. 1. Everybody lies about sex, even in anonymous polls. 2. The responses show that there is a big difference between what people THINK or FEEL about cybersex as opposed to what they DO about it. Didn't you notice that a lot of the people who said "I don't do it" also said, "It's fine by me if others do"? I don't drive stock cars, or even watch stock car races. That doesn't mean that I think stock cars are irrelevant, or should be ignored, or banned. And, just an opinionated observation: If all sex was suddenly removed from SL, Linden Lab would close their doors in a week and the grid would go dark. |

Very well said Victorria, reminds me of one of my favorites quotes. I think it was John Lennon that said "Sex is 1% friction, and 99% imagination." That being said, textual sex is still 99% real. LOL Also I think some of the negativity we see is a part of human nature which I have always found disturbing. Seems to me wether in SL or RL an amzing number of people feel it is necessary to "put down" anything they don't like. I guess it makes them feel better, but how self-centered can someone be. "If I don't enjoy it how could you?". |
