From: Chri5 Somme some people are on shared networks, lan houses, computer coffee shops etc. Wouldn't work. sry. But what they could do is ban your mac address. Now that they're going to start banning hardware hashes it really accomplishes the same thing. I sympathize with people who share a computer but the thought of some idiot griefer not getting any sex until the ban expires and the spouse can get back in-world makes me happy. A pissed off LL won't deter some people. An irrate spouse might be far more effective.

suppose someone plays two characters equally? How do you decide the alt and the main? Just a thought.
But frankly I think listing Alts is a horrid idea. There are other ways to deal with griefers, and privacy is important. People come to SL to hide thier identity, and that may include multiple manifestations, they should not be punished for the actions of a few griefers.
