Seriously i can kinda understand that SL has shitty image and its not really hip to let people know irl that you have SL account, but even if you move them pervs under the carpet it wont change. Well maybe only to prove like "See im not verified im not in SL for avvie grinding" but ofcourse you can have alts for that and you are still a moron for paying real moneys for virtual goods.

I would suggest to have a poll that everyone has to answer upon login to clarify this situation cause i have this feeling there might be more of those who will be pushed under the carpet than those who wont be.

Blondin, I don't wish to seem unkind, but you must really get out of California and see the world. It's a cool place, full of interesting people. Lots of them smoke and drink and get up to all sorts of mischief. It's called fun.

A good part of why I am involved in this issue. If LL can act like this to one group of their customers, it can just as easily be another.

Rene; For the most part I do agree with you. It is not as clear cut or as easy as LL would like us to think it's going to be. There will be many ppl displaced. Many angry ppl will end up getting land that just plain sucks.

One Solution for us estate owners; Access lists. Your not allowed on my land without my permission. You don't need to be verified. More so if it's just those that I know and allow they sure as hell wouldn't be ARing any activity on my estate. As underhanded or immoral as that may seem; it will be done time and time again. Because it's easy. More so; if I set my estate to PG and no one would be the wiser as to what really goes on behind closed borders.

I am waiting for a clear definition of "Adult" from LL.

Why does Linden Labs feel the need for such a strong unyielding policy when theyy can make a few minor chances to the zoning rules and search system that will have the desired effect with out as much dicontentment form its users?

I receved a notecard mentioning that weapons of any sort will be considered adult. If this is true then i lose all my shops seeing as i make weapons.

"Swords .. Guns. Vehicles that may have weapons .. Skins that show the full Body ... furniture .. Art works and Art galleries will all be affected."

Is there any truth to that?

No that isn't all true. At the moment nobody knows the truth but the suggestions are it won't be that draconian.

My suggestion for the land swap would be "same for same". If someone had oceanfront on two sides on the mainland, they should get the same thing on the new continent. They paid for that oceanfront in good faith and should be able to keep it.

A month's tier should be forgiven since there will be rebuilding and shuffling about; during which time they will be on two parcels, or lose business while relocating to one, or both. It's only "2 to 4 percent" after all, so I'm sure LL can suck it up.

Me, I have a small plot in a snow sim, landlocked, on a mountainside close to the ocean. If I relocated, I'd want one like that.

Maybe I'm the only one here, but I actually trust you guys to come to a fair resolution on this issue. Certainly an even-Steven land swap would be reasonable. It might not account for lost business, but that is the risk any business takes. I also think "Pornsylvania" will end up being the best thing that has ever happened to the adult industry on SL.

My question concerns the land that is vacated on the mainland by those that have to move. What is the plan for this vacated land? This will really be important to those of us that are PG in nature and will not be required to move.
