I just went on sl to look for a penis Eclectic and its amazing! I honestly didnt realize they have to make all these choices. Limp ones and big ones and ones that stretch. And they have colours. Its a bit liek buying a steak in real.
When I send my partner out for a fresh one its no wonder he takes ages. And they arent cheap. I a REALLY gonna try.
Why not use sl as a means to explore these things.

You REALLY dont mean to say that men in sl talk to other men in sl like this? I know men have a kinda way all their own but this justifies serious study. I REALLY thought you were all kinda more sophisticated here and more in touch with your inner selves. I guess teh men who want that become women as I suggested in teh first place.

Aaryn..... try actually reading some of the stuff in this thread (not that i think yu will becuase you are ignorant and obviously enjoy being that way). Other than knowing that she should have been female my partner isnt messed up in the hed, hell I am more confusedand messed up than she is. She knows who she is, whcih is better than a lot of people in this world.


As for voice. Well that is amusing in itself. Voice modulators are easy to get, easy to use and good ones can disguise your voice easily. Or like my partner many have a feminine voice to begin with and dont even need a voice modulator. She DJed on air for 8 months before coming out as transgender. Not one person guessed about her before. And most asked when they found out if she used a voice modulator and were shocked when she didnt.

There is no true way to know who is behind a keybord except by trust. Even webcams have ways of being manipulated...

Speaking as group-entity who looks like a pack of otter-like aliens, my reaction to the idea of a guy playing a girl is "a lack of imagination". ^^

Any man on SL who claims they haven't made themselves a female alt and had a blast doing it is lying through their teeth. Who could resist the temptation going around with your female alt and strutting your stuff, and no it doesn't make you gay! This is half the fun of SL getting yourself an alt and giving her some big tits, then going around and slutting out with her.

And I would definitely agree that women have become the dominant sex, which I don't mind one bit, I can put up with it as long as my needs are being fulfilled. I think society will swing back the other way someday once everyone sees what kind of world we get with women in control of everything! Not only that but as more men are being transformed into effeminate wimps at the hands of all the dominant females its increasing the value for those of us remaining who are real men.

I'm a guy and I've never created a female alt. and I haven't the slightest desire to do so. I do understand how some people want to be somebody else just for the fun of it. But I think roleplaying being a female and hanging out with guys could be taking it a little too far.

It some ways it can spoil Second Life because it means we can't take anybody seriously. Everybody we meet just becomes an internet plaything to be toyed with and then thrown away when we're bored.

SL risks becoming very superficial and pointless.

I dunno. But as RL gets more serious, unsure and unstable, superficial and pointless for a while is a nice change. Not everyone wants their SL to be serious.

The fact that someone's avatar appearance may differ from their RL appearance is of no consequence to me. I don't think any less of them as a person, or treat them differently if we were meeting in the real world.

Well I can see where you're coming from but I'm of the opinion that SL sex by its very nature is rather superficial and pointless. Thats what makes it so much fun you can get away with things you wouldn't normally do or even want to do in real life. I am the same as a lot of other guys if I were going to delude myself into thinking that there was the possibility of having some kind of meaningful sexual relationship on SL I would require that this person be a real life female, and thats where voice would be a useful tool for weeding out the impostors. But I think its better if people keep things in perspective and not lose touch with the fact that SL is all pretty much fake when you get down to it. Yes you can have real life friendships, make real money and all of that but its still sort of just a make believe fantasy world. I know there are people who have hooked up on here and gotten married or had otherwise meaningful relationships but I don't think SL is generally the kind of place to go if you want to hook up with women. I think this is where actually going out and meeting real people is the better choice, or if necessary there are plenty of online dating sites out there too.

Agreed. But it is the YOU that they are reacting to. Does it matter if the avatar is a different gender, or height, or weight , or skin color, or nationality or religion as what is presented. It doesn't to me. Of course if you are going to move into any sort of serious personal relationship, you are entitled to know whatever you wish, but even then, this is SL, you can't be 100% sure you are being given the truth.
