Soylent Green Dots?

Would that be where having big teeth to tear green dots a part come in handy?
LOL
Personally I lead a very PG life but there are some avatars I would want to tear a part and
taste all their tasty parts. Does that make me a cannibal if I don't ever do it here?

... My own sl partner is a Satyr (by accident really) ...

 Can that happen? Is it a new glitch like the shoes-up-the-bum thing?

I love to see variety in avatars, and the more imaginative the better, whether human (adult or child), neko, furry, robot, ethereal cloud ... whatever.

I would also recommend Grendel's Children for anybody wanting to play dressing-up. I try not to go there too often as I always come away with several new avies and my inventory is bursting at the seams.

As for people only responding with animal noises if you try to talk to them, well, unless it's a RP area, I think it's a bit rude, but that has nothing to do with how the avatar looks, that's just inflicting role play on unwilling participants. I just shrug and move on.

You have misquoted it actually, and it refers specifically (and disparagingly) to inhabitants of the USA.

Pep (I am more concerned that you have ended the quote before you have had the chance to "wave goodbye" . . . again?)

I paraphrased it for my own purposes you effing idjit. Honestly pep, you are a to**er on a regular basis. I'm not waving goodbye Pep. I just enjoy giving you an opportunity to be a complete wa*ker as often as I can.

Presumably you think "paraphrase" means "changed it so it fitted in with what I wanted it to mean, rather than the inconvenient truth".

Actually I am gonna take back all I said - I have been in real with a friend who is very ill and I have been too involved with sadness for a day or two. Instead, I wish you and your family a wonderful christmas, and a time to be close with loved ones. If you ever felt annoyed by me I apologize. It's a good season and I dont wanna argue with anyone. Its a cold day on teh east coast and I'm gonna walk on the beach in a while. Merry Christmas, Pep. Take care, love. Jig.

I hope you can find laughter and something to ease the sadness Jig.
It's hard when those who we care about be it Friends or a Lover is ill or going through rough time. Hope you enjoy the beach and have good Holiday.
Sometimes I get cranky but I always find your post fun.
Shapeshifting be it in FL, SL or any where else can be sexy, fun and silly, every now and then I need reminders.
I tend to prefer to keep my animal noises in first life, it's just not the same when I make them hear since I don't own a mic. Most avatars regardless of what they are wearing
I rarely get very excited by most things Avatar related in SL but there is definitely some very sexy furry and well done mythical creature avatars out there.

I love it too, although your version wouldn't suit me at all. It's your inner kitteh...mine prefers crystal dishes and designer labels. :D

I did get some neko stuff but I only wore them once. Kitty ears, tail for when in human shape. Just isn't me, though. When I'm a kitty, I'm a kitty (and I was a kitty long before I tried neko stuff).

Oh I am well aware I am in the class of only one of the top types of predators around, though funnily enough not much else seems to like eating vampires...

I like eating vampires. They taste like shark. Odd, I know, but most of them seem to taste like shark.

Oh I get you, true though really there is a gap in the fiction possibilities there I feel ;)

Here is my dragon form btw:

I have several dragon forms.

Sometimes when I'm a dragon I pretend to be a sheep so I can sneak up on them.

You will rarely see me as a vampire, though.

Yup, that's the one. Only I have the red version, because it's closest to the tanuki av I wanted.

I got the one in the picture because I wanted to find some recliners and sit in them. Like in the television commercials. Most of the ones I've seen are like the one in the picture, so that was where my mind was when I thought of "must be raccoon."

Thanks :) It was a fun evening. Rioko and Crazod are also in that picture.

Here we are resting after eating. Though I do not know why one of the sheep is hovering.

(You'd think it would be easy - ooh, one of them has red on their toe-claws. Must be the only female mentioned - Rioko (if you think of it as claw polish instead of blood). No, did that by accident, that's me. I do not recall which ones are Rioko are Crazod in the picture)

Thanks FD and a Christmas greeting to you also (on west coast I think?) My pines and oaks and apple trees all loaded with snow. Vivaldi final concertos on my CD player. East coast looks wintry-misty.

QFT. freedom to choose who we associate with. And who not to associate with.

We should tolerate each others beliefs, customs and lifestyles. But we are under no obligation to accept or celebrate those that we do not share with them. We should simply not bother them and go on our way.

Except that isn't what we're talking about here. We're talking about making snap judgments about someone based on the way they dress a virtual doll. Do that, and you have no idea what the other person's beliefs, customs, or lifestyle REALLY are, let alone whether you agree with them.

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things.

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.

I believe I was the brown one, but Crazod has the same one too so who knows....and I have another one too, but I can't recall what kind offhand without looking in my inventory. Those poor sheep....

I agree with both of you. I don't know about you, but I don't have time to chat to many new people in sl, so I tend to preselect those whose company that I think I am likely to enjoy, based on what is quickly apparent, that is, avatar looks and profile.

Since I am pretty vanilla in my tastes, it is rationale thinking that I am likely to enjoy the company of others with similar characteristics. I understand that some might go looking for those with very different outlooks on sl, but if I am unlikely to "connect" I stand a greater chance of wasting my limited time.

Pep (So I will continue to approach attractive human females who don't look like Barbie The Stripper and whose profiles don't say "I [don't] bite";)

And we make those same snap judgements in RL. we always prejudge on where someone loves, what they do for a living, what kind of car they drive, how many teeth they have in their mouth.......that's human nature.

Yeah points to location by name I am in Seattle. We had rare snow over weekend some of the snow is still on roofs cause it's been too cold for it to melt.
Sounds pretty the Pines, Oaks and apple trees covered in snow, and Vivaldi. Hope you got some nice yummy hot chocolate and tea, taking good care of yourself.
Holidays can be challenging, stressful time for everyone regardless of what is going on.
I thought you were in UK. Seattle is more known for it's rain then snow, usually in winter or most recent winters we have mild weather, mainly rain rarely does it get extremely cold but once every four years we get snow.
/FD goes back and ponders X rated Dragons and Dragon's in sheep skins for some odd reason.
I think I am either bored or horny but I keep chasing my tail and it keeps getting away but I am not going to drop 10k in lindens in the quest. LOL

True, but I'll refer you back to something I said earlier:

You know, it really kind of is...at least, no one can stop you from being prejudiced about this or that in the privacy of your own head. And really, if we're truthful with ourselves, we all have things that trigger that sort of reaction. The problem, I think, comes when you actually accept and act on it.

While I've certainly succumbed to the impulse at times myself, I just don't think it's OK to excuse ourselves from being shallow due to 'human nature.' It's a cop out.

It is basic survival, not shallow at all.

Judging people based on the car they drive or the avatar they run has nothing to do with 'basic survival.'

Judging based on initial appearances does. And what a person drives does say something about them. Or do you take lots of rides with strange men in white panel vans? If not, why not? Are you prejudging them?
