Women (and men) who Run with Wolves

We share our sl world with beasts and Nekos, minotaurs and satyrs. So what makes them so appealing to us? I dont mean just in being one - I am a Neko often. There's something primal in them even as we watch them on our screen interact with us.
What is that it that creates that energy between teh human and teh beast in sl?
And, I'll ask the question that is on some of our minds - is it legal/illegal, morally okay or immoral to have sex with a myth-creature liek a minotaur or centaur? And ONLY in sl can you ask that kinda question!

But... but... how can you talk about this, and say that there's something weird about child avatars?

Lol Key! I just looking at a (rare to see these days) minotaur go walking past me at a gallery and I was more interested in teh minotaur than the paintings. It occurred to me that we must have a primal focus in us. And there's irony that in our computer-surfy-edgy sl world we still experience the deep-down-felt sense of "the Animal". It's elusive. Very myth-oriented. Just wanna know what others feel about it.

(And judging by teh rush to respond they don' feel very much )

My family just didn't have enough money to let me play dress up enough as a child. Now, with nearly 16000 pieces in my inventory, it's easy. We never grow up in some deep recess of ourselves.

Myths or no myths as 3Ring implies, it's just lots of fun to access your inner child. Regardless of the end result.

For me personally, I prefer to hang out with human looking avatars. I don't feel any particular energies from animal avatars like I do with human ones. I think it's cute when a dragon is dancing or something, but seen one dragon dance seen 'em all.

I'd like a scripted kitty kat though. Those are darn cute! But they look like kittens and are very, very tiny. But in an economic downturn, I'm happy to concentrate on my rl kitty kats. My boy cat was sitting in my lap the other day and started watching my avatar dancing. That was a special moment, and every time I said "that's Mommie", he tried to touch my avatar with his paw and then gave me a kiss on the cheek. My cat likes my avatar best and now likes to watch it. It was weird cuz there were about 30 avatars dancing but he kept touching mine. SL fun moments with your cats!

Maybe the Men and Women have "Little Red Riding Hood" fantasies?
And have always wanted to look at wolf and say adoringly, "What big wolf eyes you have?"

As long as the Minotaur or centaur is of age and not a cub and all people and animals involved don't get harmed, harm anyone else and all have consented and it's not done in middle of the food court in a pg shopping mall it should be okay.

Their is little red riding hood's mom, her basket full of treats for Grandma, Grandma, the wolf, the woodcutter comes at the end and chops open the wolf and rescues grandma, and little red riding hood.
It could be interpreted in many ways. I personally always thought woodcutter was jealous psychotic boyfriend and just wanted the wolf to be faithful only to him.

No, seriously. Last night, I ran into the cutest furry mentor on Help Island. She was wearing knee high boots, tight pants, and a gorgeous ski sweater. She had enormous slanty eyes, and a pair of huge, twitchy, membranous ears that just cried out to be fondled. She said she was a "serval", whatever that is.

Hummm. Well, when I am in my furry form, I find that I tend pretty strongly to not be attracted to normal Humans. I may talk with them, but I don't tend to get intimate with anyone who is not also furry. I think a lot of people would see a Human/Fury intimacy as cross-species mating. Yet among furries, it doesn't matter as much what furry species you are, as long as both have fur. So an anthto collie and a Minotaur would be seen as less of an unusual couple than that same anthro collie and a Human. For either a furry anthro or a Human to mate with a quadruped animal is a much more taboo kink, and much less likely to be "acceptable".

Legally? Moraly? That is subject to very wide debate, but in my opinion, it's just creative story telling, and as long as both parties agree, and no one is forced to watch (you're not yiffing in the mall food court), who cares? It's supposedly still two adult Humans at the keyboards, voluntarily participating in the activity.
