From: Gabriele Graves I have also, many times and each one was AR'd. At first I felt mean as I tend to have a live and let live attitude but it was pointed out to me that they are in an environment that is unhealthy for them, it is not just about protecting adults but shielding the minors from things they are not quite ready to deal with yet. The most common one I have run into seem to be the ones asking for money, they reveal themselves as being a child and having no way to get money as a reason that they should get some from you. I understand, but sometimes whole families are on SL at once, or changing keyplayers, but there are still teenagers in front of the computer screen and that bothered me. This is a real incident that I am reporting. You can't really keep kids away from the internet. It is good SL has a disclaimer because the internet is the parents responsibility to monitor, not SL's.

This is a real incident that I am reporting. You can't really keep kids away from the internet. It is good SL has a disclaimer because the internet is the parents responsibility to monitor, not SL's. Those are all disallowed uses of SL. You are not allowed to give control of your AV or allow access to your AV account to another person, period. Are you saying my experiences with minors are not real? I assure you they did indicate they were children or at least teens and was as sure as you can be they meant it - then LL gets to decide after the AR. True you cannot keep them out 100% but you are safe to assume this is an adults only club, just like any other adults club and let ARs and LL deal with the few that get in.

Yup, that's the one. Only I have the red version, because it's closest to the tanuki av I wanted.

As I see it furry, neko, child, gor, vampyre, elf, fae, animal, dragon .....etc , we are all human , we play the av and role we are comfortable with so why judge one way or the other just accept it, or as a wise man once said Live and let live..

So far, this thread has been about biological and spiritual beings. What about the technological avatars? Cyber and clockwork dolls, orbs, marionettes, robots, and such? (^_^) Here's a HUGE Cyberdoll avatar I got recently. Not my typical scale, but, cool besides. (^_^) And, a friend of mine that's a pretty dedicated clockwork doll. She's very dependent on the love and care of her friends when she winds down. (^_^) How adventurous can we all get? I wanna see. =^-^=

From: Gabriele Graves ROFL I thought the adoption thread had gone quiet. Lo and behold another absolutely inane thread about inappropriateness that is masquerading as a seeking answers thread.
Predictive Jig Thread formula...
1) Pick any subject 2) Ask if it is appropriate allow it and to have sex in those circumstances.
Lol, maybe we should have a thread:
What is Jig really learning from all these questions? What is this thing you have about me Gabriele? I ask questions. I have opinions. If you dont like taking part in the thread then dont post comments - you dont have to reply to my threads. I stay away from threads that I dont enjoy like the "put me out of my misery" one that's 10 thousand pages long. If people like it well, good for them. Many people have opinions about what they are asking when they pose questions. And this thread is long enough to suggest that many people want to express their ideas. And I'll keep on asking questions. I have plenty to ask about a community of people in an amazing environment. It's like being given the key to a fantastic art gallery full of humanity and being allowed to touch the artwork.

I don't have anything against you Jig however your question threads are very like I wrote and I am expressing an opinion about them. I am not saying anything about you am I? If you post stuff like this in an open forum, then you are surely expecting that people will comment? Not always as you might granted but surely you don't only expect to see things you like here hmmm? Isn't my question also valid?, I am keen to know what it is you get out of so many frequent question threads that all seem to have a simillar pattern.

Isn't my question also valid?, I am keen to know what it is you get out of so many frequent question threads that all seem to have a simillar pattern. There is a pattern, very true. I dont have much interest in the complexities of computer and sl as a technological marvel. I dont own a business so I dont enter those threads. I dont care about clothes since I rarely wear them in sl. When I do, I wear jeans and a tube-top. My real work involves describing people and observing and questioning and celebrating them. I love people - I am "involved in mankind" as Donne wrote. Yes I am interested in human sexuality and teh way we love. Sl offers all of us a means to explore each other. I am also very interested in art and poetry, Shakespeare, gardening ... But people. Always people. And the ways they love each other. I am not that frequent really - check my posts and comments figures against others in teh forum. I'm just memorable. And I dont mind you scruffling at me - its kinda nice when you get in a huffy way. Hey - "are we human or are we dancers? My sign is vital but my hand is cold ... I'm on my knees looking for the answer - are we human or are we dancers? wish me well"

I'm on my knees looking for the answer - are we human or are we dancers? wish me well" *grins* OK, I guess I took quite a lot of exception to that last thread where "sick and creepy" came up. I would urge you to try not to give your threads such a strong dose of your own opinion or inflamatory words like that up front if you really want what others think. Huffy? ROFL Fair enough, maybe I am a little, nobody is perfect and your threads do sometimes wind me up a little. You say that "stirring people up" is by design and well I beleive well it works but you have to be careful not to cross the line in to trolling too I think. This stirring people up deliberately can be seen as a bad thing. It is one thing to have an opinion that is unpopular and unconventional (I am in that position myself mostly) and a different thing to deliberately stir people up to see what happens (which is never my intention even it sometimes results in that). I would also urge you try to keep a more open mind about stuff because even if you have an open mind it sure does not seem that way a lot of the time to me at least. Believe me when I say I was do not have a problem with you, I really don't even know you except through your posts. Anyway after all I am in your threads and commenting right? If I really hated everything about them or you I would avoid them like the plague. So maybe all is not too bad after and I certainly understand you a little better.

From: Talarus Luan That's true, though I would wager you have met a LOT more "human entities", and not simply just because of any potential personal bias. Statistically, non-humans are a minority; a large one, to be sure, but still a minority. It's OK. I don't tend to hang around with a lot of humans, either. Not just because I get weird looks, or lots of oohing and ahhing, but also because your (human) chairs are not very tail- or wing-friendly. :-/ most of the time the chairs are not very human friendly either LOL actually I would venture to say that it is about even in the non human to human people I have met in my SL (as I said I do not go out much at all)

(and we all do it, subconsciously we all do it) QFT. freedom to choose who we associate with. And who not to associate with. We should tolerate each others beliefs, customs and lifestyles. But we are under no obligation to accept or celebrate those that we do not share with them. We should simply not bother them and go on our way.
