Decision makers on the big company level (those companies LL wants to attract to SL) didn't stay away from SL because of some sensational wannabe-journalist stuff like on Fox News. They stayed away because of in your first hour experience you had a 95+ percent chance to encounter walking penii, naked n00bs and escort services allover the "normal" mainland.

So, LL didn't and doesn't see a need to forbid child avatars. However, LL did see a need to install a new adult content policy to protect their business and image. A normal wired brain would start to do some thinking now - but not Lias...

And this is the new way of business in SL. And it does not just stop with this campaign.
LL began their campaign to forbid child avatars in SLB5 - then the child AV apologists destroyed the event and LL backed down. LL still holds a grudge on that one. When the Child AV group offered LL some partnership - LL never responded.
A normal wired brain would read the Community Standards - see that ONLY child avatars are mentioned and sanctioned and start to do some thinking.
