Wrong. This is my thread. I started it, and I started it to talk about child avatars who accidentally end up in adult venues protecting themselves from attack during the time it takes for them to realize they're in the wrong place and leave. It is not about adults wearing child avatars and engaging in adult activities in SL. Such is already against the rules and nobody in this thread has a problem with that. It's not controversial in the least.

Don't worry about my tongue - and this thread wasn't about a subject I didn't want discussed until you came here and hijacked it.

It's neither; it's just Lias being mad. She's always said that child avs were a bad thing - some paranoia about child avs suddenly showing up to legitimate adult businessplaces and ARing the people or proprietors or something. Basically her argument - both then and now - was that child avatars are a liability and a threat to "innocent" adult activities in SL, and should be banned for that reason.

But what does LL end up doing? Rounding up all the adult activities and quarantining them on their own little continent, leaving the rest of SL free and clear for child avs to roam and lark and play without harassment! Not only that, but they pointedly and repeatedly refuse to restrict child avs from going to the new adult continent too. That's really gotta put a couple of pebbles in her shoes.

Kara suggested that Linden Lab gathered up all of the adult business and placed it on one continent in order to ban the adult content easily. I suggested that no adult business owner seems to be in fear of that since none of them are publicly trying to ward off such a fate. But the child avatar apologists have posted hundreds of posts in defense of their survival.
