When I'm not in a rut, I have nothing to post and the areas on SL are still empty or filled with howling..

Well, it seems to me that it does. I never improved on Prim Docker because, if people weren't happy with the features it had, why did they buy it?

So basically complaining about SL is the only thing in SL that actually interests you?

No, if I'm not complaining about SL then I'm alone.

Oh...ok....I guess I learned differently....or experience something entirely different from a friendship.....most certainly Not the behavior I see here....

People here have made it clear they don't want to be my friends.

yumi..i have no clue who this sandbox dude is...no idea what his luck is...heck i never even built anything IN a sandbox. but i made my own way. no one took me under their wing...no one invited me to anything...no one helped me unless i went to them to learn and nicely asked and then listened. some were helpful and some werent...and some just confused me...lol

so this idea that you have to have something handed to you...call it luck or help or whatever you want....is proven false as you like to say....it didnt happen to me...wasnt given to me, etc. therefore, acc to your logic...someone CAN be succcessful without those things...


also...you totally need to get involved in the various philosophy groups holding meetings in sl if this is the kind of interchange that gets you going...those people sit around for hours and just argue back and forth about things...lol me, i go off and make something.

and also...ive never said i didnt want to be your friend...ive invited you to visit my sims etc...havent seen you. call me and we'll do lunch

For me....you have demonstrated behavior that I would not tolerate in a friendship.

I myself...have behaviors that some would not tolerate in a friendship. We all do.

If you can't find enough people to bond with in a healthy way (key word "healthy".....that will tolerate your behaviors....perhaps you should study them a little? maybe adjust something?

Yes. But the usual asked-for adjustment involves stopping posting. And then I am silent, and then I have no interaction with others at all.

Did you read that list of possible interactions that might be good for you? I started it in another thread - by itself? maybe two weeks ago?

When you want to learn how to align prims, don't post a thread about how SL is doomed because of your problems and then, pages later, ask about aligning prims. Instead, start a thread about aligning prims in the building forum.

I've said this before though, why would anyone care?

Because that's what people are reading the building forums for... to ask and answer questions.

Why should anyone care about my ability to align prims? These threads have made it clear that I can't expect anything from anyone.

Moreover, if they did care about random strangers' ability to do so, why wouldn't the information already be in a sticky or FAQ?

Ok. I get it now. Post 302 and now 308 explain the 'whys'. Because it's a way of interaction, of communication, of people talking, even if what they are saying is not really what you're looking for; even that is better, to you, than being alone. Is this correct, Yumi or am I assuming too much here?

No. Since the "adjustment" they are asking for actually results in me being silent and having no interaction, I figure they are not actually telling me how to be friendly, but just trying to get me to shut up.

How has this turned into the Yumi thread? Isn't the other one enough? I come in here to escape from those other mind-numbing discourses, and don't expect them to have them follow here because they aren't getting enough attention where they originated

Amaranthim gave you a very specific offer for help. I offered to help you in any way I can with your av. This thread is full of people who are trying to help, but you rebut every piece of advice.
