You're in one right now. But unfortunately, you aren't showing your best side, in my opinion. But even in world, there is no specific place. There is no "Nice Guys Club" where they hang out, at least staright ones. They are all over SL, just like RL. You may find one in a shopping mall jusyt as easy as a nightclub. Can't hurt to enter "Nice Guys" (in quotes) in All Search - they might be mapped! _____________________

1) See my description in the first post.  2) They must be doing a good job of hiding from me. Honestly, your description in your first post isn't significantly more detailed than just "nice guys". "Ones that don't think they are god's gift..." to who/what? Women? Personally, I don't know any that think that way; not saying I am out "looking for guys", but most of my male friends have to be beaten with a large tree trunk to have enough confidence to talk with a female because they are so painfully shy. I would consider them "nice guys", though, as they have proven to be very passionate lovers, once they come out of their shell. |

My husband isn't bleak. He's handsome, sexy and making a lot of money from his job which is why I put up with him being away but he happens to be the jealous type. I bet you and the all the rest of the women who have posted here have lied to their husbands or boyfriends, or at least kept the truth from them about something important. If you want a good guy, your best bet is to find a gay man. Unfortunately I'm already taken. This is great advice if you're looking for friendship. When my gay friends are out shopping at men's stores....they forward the profiles of the guys who do not meet their preference qualifications directly to me.....we are attracted to the same type of personality in a profile.....(except for the preference tid bit)..... Great time saver.....I don't even have to get dressed and leave the house.....and it's a great conversation starter when you IM the guy. I return the favor as well....when I'm out and about......no petty jealousies to deal with......no cat fights......well, maybe just a small one during those brief moments when we're trying to figure out what the actual preference might be. Its almost cocktail hour now so I have to run but thank you all for your views. I must say I find it very amusing that noone has suggested even one specific location where I might find nice guys. It's not about Location....it's about Attitude. If you insist on Locations....I could go through my friends' list for you....that goes back over 2 years, and these are exceptional men.....but you could tell by the list.....that locations of where me met are irrelevant. And will emphasize....these are Friends...which is not a bad place to start.....and much more valuable than a one week squeeze. Holy Smoke....I can't publish that list of locations! Forgot about a few of those locations... which only goes to show you can run into some very nice guys in some questionable locations. IF you keep your judgments at the log in door. But I have a hunch I'm banging my head against a brick wall. Judgments have already been made. |

OK my question is in three parts like on Blind Date. 1) Where do I go in sl to find nice guys with good conversation. I mean straight men that don't think they are god's gift and don't talk as if they are texting. I have tried Sweethearts and Phats because I thought that the odds would be better on finding a diamond in a pile of rocks in a big place but that was a fail. 2) How can I attract the nice guys while scaring off the idiots. Is there any magic I can do with my profile. 3) Less seriously what are the best and worst chat lines you have heard. Don't bother about hi, A/S/L and wanna.... as I have heard them already. _____________________

There is one place where you can find all the good guys, and all the bad too, hey all the good people and bad people for that matter, it's called the people tab in search
First of all, you said stating you're married in RL puts a lot of guys off, maybe, would put me off, for previous stated reasons. Those that search, like you, for an SL thing only, don't care. Those that are hoping for something that progresses beyond the SL borders, would walk away... NOT a bad thing!! unless you want to keep them hanging on a line of deception... as some did with me in the past. Few things I noticed myself: from all the people I met the first 2 weeks I came here, let than 5% are still on my list. From all the people I met after my first month here, 90% is still in my list. Makes you think... and I kinda get the idea that I am not the only one experiencing this Go explore, you will bound to meet people, and bump into people that raise your interest...
