No, that's his own belief about what causes you to be the way that you are. I personally believe you're just a troll and you don't believe much of anything you say. You come in with all sorts of logical fallacies and expect people to not see them for what they are. :rolleyes:

Nope. That may be true for some but I'd bet most are disbelievers because they see no rational or logical basis for belief. If all people have to do is praise Jesus to get immortality, and selfish personal gain were the prime motivator, it's not logical to think that atheists are disbelievers because they get a prize for it. Being demonized by believers your whole life isn't much of a prize.

Because the ramifications of atheism are scary and most people don't want to face up to it. If there is no god then that means that YOU are responsible for every decision you make. There is no "trust that god has a plan", when a loved one dies there is no option to shrug it off and say "they're in a better place now". You also have to realize that the world is our collective responsibility and that ther is not going to be any divine help dropping down to fix the world's problems.

The reason there are so few adult atheists is because most people would rather not own up to their responsibilities.

You're thinking about this from an adult perspective. Tell a child that if they don't believe in God they'll go to Hell... You can very easily manipulate a child into believing anything. Threats work wonders on a child.

I love how you switch what you're talking about. Really. You started with babies seeing angels and are now all of a sudden talking about adults being default atheists. When we are born, we have no belief system. What is so hard to understand about that?

Kevin, according to the child psych classes I took in college, humans are born with only the basic instincts. Nursing, breathing and the like. Infants don't even develop depth perception until the 6th-8th month of life. I hope you study up on child psych before you have kids, if you want them.
