Hello everyone, my name is Salem Kenzo, and im a newbie. -applause-
Seriously now, I just wanted to softly request that some kind soul compile a thread for the absolute beginner for creating animations. I have already seen the "Before Asking About Poser Trouble" thread, and that did help a lot, but it would be excellent to have a thread both points out the basic things like which programs can be used, and where to get sample animations/template models from, all the way up to what units SL takes, the T-stance, and so forth. I understand that most of this information is already floating around in here, and otherwise findable by google, but it would just be -really- nice to have a sticky here, even if a locked one. The "Before Asking About Poser Trouble" thread was very useful in giving a checklist of what to look into, but offered no actual information on each individual point. Even a brief overview of common problems would be a step in the right direction..
Unfortunately, this isnt a pay-request, so if people feel like doing this, they'll have to do it out of the goodness in their hearts. Might want to post your names here if you're going to work on it too, it'd be terrible to come here to post a mini animation FAQ after a day of compiling info, only to find someone beat you to it!

How do I make a pose stick/freeze or an animation repeat/loop? See Making a Pose Stick at /52/f0/19841/1.htmlAnd, Looping Animations at /52/d5/16444/1.html4. OMG, my animation/pose looks great in Poser, but in SL, my av is floating/hovering above the ground, sinks into the ground, or is not flipped/rotated!
