We were told specifically that if we opted to keep our mainland, it was ours to do with as we pleased. Now its been said its not in the *spirit* of the swap to sell, but if they insisted that we had to abandon or pay double tier, then it stands to reason that they would have took possession immediately of the old land, and given us a 2 week grace period to move...When i asked, i was told... as long as you no longer are in possession at the two week mark, you will not have double tier. They did NOT say it had to be abandoned. Seems to me that in a forced move, allowing you to sell your old land is at LEAST compensation for making us move to begin with.

In Zindra I cannot mark events as mature. I feel like I am breaking the rules posting events there as PG but I already have my friend booked to come sing Sunday so i have to advertise it. I hope this is fixed immediately. When I try to save my event I get the message that I cannot post a Mature event in a PG region. I hope people don't get upset when they come to the PG rated concert in the restaurant and see the food on nude people at their tables.

Didn't Blondin say something at his OH that anyone could put in a ticket to move and "I doubt you would be denied"?

Of course, Blondin always appends "this is just my opinion" to everything. Not to mention that LL have lied and reversed things several times in this process. But still ...

According to LL the blame would be on the tenant. They have stated profiles should be PG.

Earlier this week, LL refused my request to land swap. Now, here is there response to my request that they reconsider. They have no intention to be fair about this at all, and all of there proclamations in that regard are lies. This is their latest response. I will ask them now why they will make me sell and buy, but businesses were allowed to swap.

Unfortunately you will need to wait until the first wave of migration is complete. We will then open land sales to all who wish to live on Zindra. At that time, you may purchase land on Zindra through the Auction System in the Land Portal or you can buy land from other Residents.

This is my current and final ticket to LL about this. I am so pissed at them that I guess it is just best to leave it alone, since there is no hope of David slaying Goliath.

Can you please explain to me how it is fair that you will allow an adult business to swap their land, but you will make me go through a process of sell/buy in order to move to Zindra? Surely you must be aware that the land prices on the mainland are falling, while the prices in Zindra will be inflated. You have ended up with a very unhappy customer.

Well my 11:23 ticket ending in 6484993 has gone WIP. I'm only swapping an 8192.

Got my fingers crossed because I wanted to build a new building for the new continent and I needed the prims so I cleaned out the old "Toy" Store. I did get the new building done and put some new stock in it as well as some of the older stuff just to have an example of the stuff I sell. The 125 meter tall space station looked a little funny in the corner of the wooded Garda and next to my Fantasy Forest 1/2 sim in Camponeschi so I raised it into the sky.

I also run a Space Role Play Adults only club with paintball HUDS instead of the normal lasers and such. I call them stunners and they are just a blast but I digress, I sell really out of the norm toys like BDSM factory and grunge style things and scripted tentacle...ummmm... "attachments" lol.

So I have an adult toy store, an adult role play club and lots and lots of free to use poseballs for the RPing. But since only part of it is out I may have shot myself in the foot. We'll see!

But they *are* totally stupid. There is a very quick and easy way to eliminate 99% of the suspicion of SL being used for nefarious purposes.

Cease allowing anonymous freebie accounts.

Leave those that are here alone, but stop allowing new ones. Just being able to say that some form of identification in the form of payment information is required to sign up is to tell idiots like Kirk to shut up.

What causes LL to be a target for this sort of thing is the anonymity.

Then you can give people a "predictable experience" by limiting the access to the *PG* areas and newcomers areas to those who are account verified.

This does a better job of protecting RL children than zindra ever will, and would also protect (by making it possible to ban a griefer's payment info) from a lot of the stupid things that SL residents can do to discourage new folks.

Sorry, but I have to stand by my statement about the oatmeal!

I haven't read the thread in a while, but just to make everyone even more happy. Kirk is considering throwing his hat into the ring to run for The Anointed One's , blessed be his name, former Senate seat now held by the winner of the auction to fill The Anointed One's, blessed be his name, Senate seat, since the auction winner is not running for election next year. Just imagine Kirk joining the ranks of the idiots in the Senate.

Appeal it. re-open your ticket with a comment asking *why* you were turned down. If you have publicly available sexual content that is advertised in your parcel description and in Search, then you *should* be eligible.

"I will not be retaining my current land"= LL reclaims it at the end of the tier-free period for the land you got in zindra (2 weeks)

"I will be retaining my current land"= *you* are responsible for either selling, abandoning, or paying tier for, any land that you retain in addition to your zindra land.


At least, that's the impression I got. We said that we were keeping it, and then sold it before the 2 weeks were up (last of it went day before yesterday)

The sicilian mafia is a much more credible business partner. If they promise you concrete shoes at noon of the next day, they deliver your request exactly at 12:00 noon next day and 12:30 - also like promised - they sink you into the next river. If you order some warez, well, it will be overpriced, but it will be delivered in time and discreet as triple A quality, (whatever you ordered: women, weapons, weed...) and if they promise to shoot you into your left knee (maybe because you forgot to pay your gambling depts), then they do that, in time and exactly into your left knee and not into your right knee.

Same works with chinese triades or japanese yakuza.

These contracts have handshake-quality, like good old european hanseatic tradesmen contracts traditionally had too.

Contracts with a specific company, where you bought maybe mature mainland, have no quality. And even the spoken and typed word counts nothing there, at Battery Street, San Francisco.

Hi Elanthius I was asking earlier about tenants with adult content in their picks and the pick being the place they rent from us, in this case a home, the person in question is advertising their services and I believe use the house of that, wondering now how we stand as landlords over this, is it our duty to ask her to remove the address from her profile?? or would it be something we dont have to worry about, that the Lindens will look at if necessary?

Soar is asking how you, as a fellow landlord, deal with people that rent non-adult land but have adult things in their picks.

Soar, as long as they are not doing adult stuff on your non-adult land, I would not worry about what is in their profile.

I sure don't care what my renters have in their picks? I'm not the adult police. If LL care about people's picks they can contact those people.

It was more it was connected to the home that is rented to them and having that as the address for the adult business they advertise, I dont care either what is in their picks just would hate for Linden to come along and take our mature land )

My prem account got it's land today. It's an awesome spot that I am really happy with. I was treated really well and with total concern for the lands suitability, (it's part in water, which I wanted). It ended up being a lot better land than my first choices.

Congrats Ian! Can you give us the time of your original ticket so we know where they are in the process?
