No not what I ment dear. How dose rental homes alone them selfs get to move is my point. There was no club no shops not even one porn pic any where on there parcel. The point is why is linden labs moveing parcels that are not sexual in any. I mean like some one can have say 5 parcels and one 1 is sexual and all of there parcels are being moved slowing down and even stoping the moves so they can bring new sims online. Thats is pissing me off. My sim is dead shops are pulling out. No one is comeing any more. And here I am going to pay a extra 100 bucks for teir while others abuse the system and even set the new parcel for sale to rip others off and piss others off.
The main reson why we want a estate is we know we where not going to get water front sim. Like some many have said why would linden labs let any one pick the parcels they want to move to. That there will slow down the move. Last night 195 usd was pulled for teir on our sim and now we face 500 more for the island. While others get there none needed parcels moved people like me who want islands get to pay more then we should. I ask you how is that fair to us. When you may pay 195 for a sim we get to pay 295 plus our 195 for the sim we are all ready on.
Now I will go have some cheese with my wine. I just hope them ones who abuse the system have a unhappy secondlife. For the good guys all ways get riped.

Not surprising that Duval has gone so quick, neighbouring Cimarac has gone too. I wouldn't be surprised if 100s of people requested them (including me), they were the only bits of flat beachside land in the whole of the new area. Most of the rest of the new coastline released is steep and hilly. I'm migrating from flat beachside land bordering protected water sim. The small amounts of this kind of land on Zindra were all snapped up on the first day (mostly by people migrating from landlocked parcels, some of them got double prims lol).

I am low in confidence that we are going to get anything remotely equivalent to what we already have. This whole process is a joke.

I paid through the nose for for my snowland and tropical beach - both of which I now have to give up/sell at a pittance because they are part of the mainland.

this poor quality land is no substitute ***AT ALL*** for what I'm giving up.

I am very sorry to hear that. Of course, if you hadn't moved it would be just as worthless as my beach land is today. At least you can recover some of the investment.

Just curious though. Were all of your previous mainland holdings devoted to adult content? If not, wondering why you would move everything there given the poor quality of the parcels that you swapped for. This is something that I am seeing in this and other threads, and I really don't understand it.

I always bought my land for two reasons:
A) when I did something it wasn't restricted like PG. Be it a home, a club, a beach, etc

B) I wanted the land for what it is (snowy, tropical, flat, hilly) Many of the things I have done have been built around the landscape (with some shaping of course). If I didn't care about the land I could just buy the cheapest LL land and toss up a skybox and be happy. Infact I get kinda sad seeing unused land and all skybox. It's like not mowing the yard.

Now that LL has made adult the new unlimited land AND offered basicly security to that (age verification) who would want to stay on mature? Course who knows with all this bull I might just stay there and when I want to open a business...I'll find the best way to rip off LL.

I now count 266 regions on Zindra. Add to this the 218 Adult estate regions reported by Tyche Shepherd, gives a total of 484 adult regions, or 1.7% of the entire grid.

The south extension *finally* looks like the land developers are getting it - lots of coastline.

Lots of coast line with No LL protected water, hilly sides, etc. Closer but the cigar is an exploding one.

No better hobby in SL than land and history (for me anyway) and this is a historical event.

No clue why you needed to move, or where you moved from. I am more interested in the land flippers, and their role in Zindra. Someone(s) always figures out how to game it and ruins it for all, just like the First Land fiasco.

Yes, I have collected my parcels carefully. I enjoy the old continents and their sense of history (^_^ six whole years). Finding nice parcels in these area can be difficult, but rewarding. I have picked mature for the same reasons as you. While I don't use SL for sex, I do not want to be constrained by pg standards.

I really am not too concerned by the down turn in land prices, as I have no inclination to move. If I were to become involved in some adult oriented business, I would keep my mainland and just tier up.

In the end, my investment in SL is fairly modest. I have not invested more than I could comfortably lose if it all went south tomorrow.

And see for you I would say mature is perfect. But anyone who knows me will tell you I'm a Mastervert (there is no PRE or PER in my verting, I graduated). It's VERY likely I will be turning off the mature search in my client in the near future (I already have pg off). I support protection from minors (though as stated before SL doens't have them...offically). SO I'm moving to protect myself from thier involvment and future lawsuits due to unverifieds.

No they are totally *not* getting it. Lots of coastline, but the wrong kind of coastline. This steep hilly coastline is not the kind of terrain that most "commercialized" adult enterprises would want or need. Building a mall or a stripclub or whatever on this kind of land is not exactly straightforward. Give us some flat tropical beaches.

I really think LL should suspend this for a week or two , have a look at the kind of land people have requested, then make a second Zindra sub continent where the land available matches what people are requesting. Is it that so hard?

As things stand, there is no like-for-like requirement, so just about *everybody* is requesting coastline, the coastline they are providing is not satisfactory, so they are going to have to go on and on and on releasing new land till everyone is satisfied which means Zindra is going to have about 30,000 sims, OR they are going to start issuing "take it or leave it" ultimatums to people who will be extremely pissed about being expected to move their businesses to manifestly inferior land. How many of these people will throw in the towel completely is anyones guess.

I for one will close up shop on two places that have been around for at least a year each if I don't get suitable land. it's the least I can get for my troubles. I remember when the nice land I got, lots of water all around, waterways through little islands, etc, came available and I wanted it, even though it was more expensive, and I found the means to get it.

In fact, I've come almost to think I deserve better land to help compensate me for months of heartache, worry, and the hours of work it will be. Especially when we are finding anyone and everyone getting the sought after land. (Notice, Blondin, Jack, or Cyn, the unspoken here, that people are shying away from the horrid city and roads)

Your reading my mind hun totally on this. Alot of my plans for my beach were put on hold cause of Zindra when they announced a nonconditional push to age verification.

I just want this to be over.. this is like inching a bandaid of an infected wound just so you can clean it up and hope like hell it doesn't kill you.

After a quick search of lindens it seems at 8:28pm PDT there is a grand total on one linden listed as “know to be working land transfers” on Lords site who is on line. So if your waiting for a transfer I wouldn’t hold my breath! I guess they had a lot of left over hamburgers and hotdogs that needed eaten from their LONG 4th weekend! What comes after absurd?
