What, you can rent hair out. Now that's a thought.

Ewww... hopefully it's washed after every return.

I would love to know where LL advertised that you could make money in SL by running a casino. I know they advertise you can make money by creating things, games in particular, but I've not seen them mention wagering games.

Therein lies the flaw in the OP's arguement. There was no advertisement that anyone could make money in SL specifically by owning/running a casino.

Chilly Charlton, Go back to college.

My friend is a Lawyer and frankly I could sue you for sueing on the grounds of gambling and winning it. In this case you shouldn't win and getting away with it = me sueing your ass. That is if you win of course ;)

Which by Law you shouldn't be able to so, I would sue you if you did win.

So some adivce - NO!

have you nothing of any consequence to add? your constant hair asides are amusing to yourself im sure. but the jokes have worn thin mate, i find them both juvenile and tedious.

What's this about gambling. I thought the OP was having a problem selling hair. Then again, if he was the guy who sold me my hair, I can see why he might have a slight problem.

To Larrie

You are soooooooooooo wrong!

There's an intelligent response. Larrie's comments made perfect sense to me and was well thought out. I'm open to an opposing viewpoint. If you believe he was wrong can you please explain?

Maybe someone will start an underground "hair" business, where we can rent out hair for cheap.... the stickier it is, the cheaper it is... and it's a "gamble" to see which "hair" you'll get out of the "vendor..."

Yep, that's what I suspect.

But: there's a very small but non-zero chance such an ad did get used somewhere in the world, so if Chilly could tell us where he or she saw such an ad, it'd be useful.

Do you by any chance still have a copy of that? A saved webpage or something? How about a link to the appropriate page in the Wayback? That would help your cause, I should think...

You did nothing illegal? Oh, then I think we all must apologize. Apparently you weren't actually referring to gambling then when you used the hair analogy.

To help us have an intelligent discussion then, could you please tell us what exactly you were referring to? Maybe then we'll all be clear on the subject.

Glad my Av is bald if they are banning 'selling hair'. Does this ban on 'selling hair' extend to pubes?

Being nearly OCD about reading web sites, I must say I never once saw any mention of _methods_ for money making, much less specific mention of casinos. Do you have a URL for the content (even if it is a 404 now)? A copy of this supposed ad? Anything to substantiate your claim at all?

Anything of consequence to add that's not more ridiculous than the original post? Sorry, no. But at least I have a sense of humour, despite the fact that my haior stinks. What's your excuse?

Someone mentioned the Guide says one of the ways to make money in SL is to gamble though.

Although I dont remember hearing about them Endorsing runing a Casino..

Maybe someone with the Official Linden Guide could fill us in?
