Bullsh*t. You should be reported for that.

Bullsh*t. You should be reported for that.

I did no such thing.

and I'm reporting this as slanderous. You went too far on that.

I'm just as much a citizen of this country as you. I love this country just as much as you.
I don't expect you to agree with me --but I'll be god-damned if you'll label me a friend of terrorists.

That's right. Call the Thought Police. Calling Bush Hitler is ok, but Heaven forbid someone call you a terrorist lover.

How about hypocrite? Does that suit you better?

Funny, that is what communists and dictators think.

You're not even quite close enough, Azazel - that's what the terrorists think.

Actually, no, the death penalty exists for murder, under the theory that killing two people is better than killing one.

And to ensure the continued immorality, hypocrisy, and ineffectiveness of the American justice system.

They should be dead because sexual abuse is SOUL MURDER. These children are going to have to pay for these sickos crimes for the rest of their lives. Some of the abused end up taking their lives many years later.

I'm sooo glad I wasn't drinking milk or Diet Coke when I read that one.

You know, Kiamat, I'm wrong - you actually use a lot of logic and sense. Anytime I say you don't make sense, refer me back to this post and I'll redact it.

Yes, you're right, because I don't believe in "Soul Murder" I'm incompassionate.

I thought you Christians believed in immortal souls?

Plus, I think your soul can only be murdered if you get turned into a vampire on Buffy.

Right, because you're all about freedom of speech and idealogical diversity. Get rid of everyone who disagrees with you-that's the solution.

If you take the time to read, what I type, you might actually see I don't disagree with all your points.

As for Kendra-this is an example of her "love" for our troops.

From: Kendra Bancroft
What the hell did IRAQ do to the United States to deserve military occupation, slaughter of women and children and barbaric torture at the hands of OUR troops. This is NOT what I pay my taxes for.

So you'll forgive me if I get disgusted when she opens her mouth about men and women whom I serve with.

-Kiamat Dusk

And I stand by my statement! Do you not see how Bush has dishonored our troops by ordering them to commit torture in OUR name.

Maybe you're comfortable with the misuse of men and women of honor --I'M NOT!

If you only "thought" it, I wouldn't have called the "Police".

But you SAID it. Maybe you think it's amusimg to tell a paciifist and patriot that she supports terrorists. I DON'T.

Why do you think I'm so appalled by BUSH? He's the biggest fucking terrorist of them all.

Really? I was molested as a child. I don't think the death of the offender would have helped me one little bit.

And just like that you call me and every other servicemember a terrorist. You can't call Bush a terrorist without calling us one. He's not the one holding the guns.

And again, I see no such venom spewed at the scores of real terrorists blowing up our troops, blowing up mosques, targetting innocent Iraqis. No-you reserve that condemnation for the very troops you claim to support.

Perhaps not, but as I have shown time and time again in this thread-it may have saved someone else from your fate. But I guess you only care about yourself...oh, and the life of a child molestor.

I'm an American. So I criticise other Americans who don't hold to the American ideal.
My venom is for traitors to a country I hold dear.

And yes --I can call Bush a terrorist and not mean that the troops are terrorists. In fact I just did.

As far as not holding the guns? The Man can barely chew a pretzel without fainting. He doesn't have the guts to actually hold a gun.

While they are "in jail for long periods of time" (can't even muster the will to say "life", eh?) my tax dollars are paying his cable bills.

Prisons are no picnic.

They are violent places with maddening levels of boredom and cruelty. For profit prisons are even worse. If prisoners want to buy paints, they can buy m and ms and use spittle to moisten the dye enough to make paint more or less. They may have to work for several days at 17 cents per hour to afford them though. (They must purchase them from the commissary. If any items are sent to the prisoners, even directly from stores, they are confiscated and taken home by guards, not sent back to family members.)

Prisoners may have extremely infrequent access to health care, even if their health is in considerable jeapordy. And this is minimum security women's prison of which I speak, not maximum security male facilities.

I know this because someone very close to me was in prison. I got birthday cards made with M and Ms and spittle (quite attractive job, she did, too, all things considered).

My mother was in prison in Texas for purchasing $15 worth of narcotics. She remained there for 5 years. After 4 years in prison, she was diagnosed with a fatal illness and asked for early parole. She didn't get it. (George Bush had to keep us all safe from those horrid criminals, after all.) She was able to live free of an institution for 3 months before she was hospitalized for the remainder of her life. When she got out of prison, the first meal she had was at an all you can eat salad bar buffet, at which she stood and cried. She had had no choice of what to eat for 5 years. My aunt, grandmother and I cried with her and helped her make a plate of food.

People talk about how they resent paying bills for prisoners. Remember that 85% of prisoners are in prison for drug-related charges. I resent paying their bills too. They shouldn't be in prison wasting their lives and our dollars.

As for the death penalty, how many people have been murdered in the US by the government who were later found to be innocent? How many have been released after 15 or even 35 years after having been found by DNA evidence to be absolutely innocent? Isn't it a little too late to say "I'm sorry" when someone is wrongfully put to death?

One other thing: I'd be willing to bet $50 USD that about half of those brought up on charges are the children's own parents or relatives. Most of those kids probably wouldn't want daddy put to death, even if he scars them for life.

None of us has to accept an unlawful order. Period. He didn't order torture, that's a product of your conspiracy adled mind. You act like we can't think for ourselves. You act like Bush is standing at the head of the army barking orders. It's all bullshit, Kendra. You hate the war, you hate Bush, and you hate the troops, you just lack the courage to say that last part.

Everytime someone dies in Iraq you wanna blame everyone BUT the terrorist with the bomb/gun. You call everyone a terrorist but the actual terrorists.

You wanna tuck tail and run so that all those people on that list could die for nothing and the people who killed them can howl in victory like they did when they hung those men from the bridge.

Good question? How many? And who is going to say sorry to the victims of these men who should have been behind bars but weren't? You?

Has anyone argued against having these criminals in prison for at least 20 years with no chance of parole?

Oh I would do more than say I'm sorry. I would advocate for prison sentences and long ones. I also would like to see prisons be about reform rather than torture. Again, I would stand with those victims just as I have stood by friends who have come to terms with molestation. (One of my 3 best friends was molested for years by her father who hung himself in her bedroom.) I also know that his violent death was as traumatic for her as his abuse of her.

Additionally, I have sat with women making T-Shirts for The Clothesline Project in which they took the internal healing process and externalized it for people to see their pain and healing. I have spent quite a lot of time with victims of molestation, both as a women's centre coordinator and as a transition house manager.

None of the women that I sat with said to me, "I wish he was dead." In the two cases where the abuser was dead (both by suicide) the victims expressed mixed feelings about this.

You're right. Technically he didn't order torture.

He had Gonzales rewrite the legal definition of torture. It's still Torture, Kiamat.

I lack no courage. I do support the troops --despite your constant lie that I don't.

I find your distortions of my position personally offensive. Let me make this clear to you in terms you can understand.

I loathe terrorists. ALL terrorists. ALL who see illegal acts of aggression as a means to their ends. I don't think two wrongs make a right. PERIOD.

Bush has turned our military into occupying forces. Do I condone the response of the Iraqi citizens who meet US violence with their own violence. Hell no.

Do I think we have any business in Iraq? Hell no.

Don't talk to me about courage. You have none. I've been thrown into jail for MY beliefs. What the hell have you ever done?

its a respect thing, Kiavac

your outrageous abuse of Kendra and your manipulations of facts, outright lies, and other completely disrespectful treatment of other posters has made me lose me sense of humour dealing with you

flat out, you are deluded and wrong

you are defending terrorists

you are aiding them

you are ruining our country

don't pretend to be a child saviour when you, personally, have childrens blood on your hands

do you want me to tell you you were doing it for us?

is that how you hope to cope with your turmoil for the blood on your hands, by making it seem you did an honorable thing destroying their entire world, if not the lives of them and their innocent families? Over 30,000 innocents (keep in mind your precious 9/11 that you keep thumping your chest about killed 3,000 innocents. And Iraq didn't even take part in any aspect whatsoever in 9/11)

I can't do that. Face your sins, and don't try to say you did it for me, because that is another one of your lies

I wanted my troops at home (alive) witht heir families and I want Iraqi families who on a good day have nothing but each other to have each other again

but I can't, because of your fucking mission!

and no, the fucking world is not "better off" since we invaded a sovergn nation who never did not attack us and was no threat to us

Enjoy your handywork buddy...

ever see what depleted uranium munitions from the 1st gulf war did? we still use it, along with White Phosphorus

but the timing of all the births defects is just a coincidence, its a bunch of baloney, like global warming huh?

Are you proud? Feel patriotic? Is this what Christ approves of?

who is the terrorist again?

talk about protecting babies to someone else, you only want to control people or save white christian babies

NOTE TO RES MODS, ALL THE IRAQI CHILDREN ARE ALIVE. I WAS TOLD POSTING DEAD IRAQI BABIES WAS INAPPROPRIATE

THESE CHILDREN ARE ALL ALIVE

YOU WANT TO NOT SEE IT, VOTE TO STOP DOING IT

Crack dealers and prostitutes have been thrown into jail for their beliefs. And?
What have I done? Dedicated the last 12 years of my life to the service of my country only to have you call me a terrorist and call our enemy in Iraq "militants" and demand they be given the benefits of the Geneva Convention for which they do not qualify.

Fact is, the only time you speak about any other terrorists is when I call you out like this. Any other time you're just talking about Bush, the Bush administration, or us troops.
