(a) No, Enabran has never referred to a male poster on these forums as "shrill."
I've called some of Prok's writing shrill many times, though I'm not sure if I've done so in the forums, and Prok is a male, so I'm not sure what else we can give you.

I was just thinking of that one myself - no one has ever come across more shrill to me in these forums. The closest was Regnar Bell, who was also male. _____________________

Fiddle dee dee. I'm sick of being called shrill by Enabran, and seeing him call other women the same thing. So I don't care what you think. Hmm, the forum search says I have only invoked the word "shrill" five times, and "shrillness" once. That doesn't count this thread, as I don't think it has been indexed yet. Maybe the word just happens to stick out with you for some reason. Dunno why it would be so resonant, though. _____________________

And I'm sick of seeing women put down, talked down to and ppl posting for women saying "what she stands for, what she means, what she does"
It's all sexist to me and so is shrill in the tone and way it was used. Women shouldn't have to put up with that kind of garbage, "virtual" or not. As for you women defending these guys, please reconsider. _____________________

I will not support flimsy accusations of sexism to bolster somebody's short term debate needs. Calling someone shrill, while not pleasant, is no different than calling them whiny/annoying. How is any of that sexist? If I call a woman annoying, am I being sexist? No. Don't hide behind gender, race, or anything else - it is about the person. _____________________

As a woman I find your frivolous and contemptuous use of supposed sexism as a tool for your forum grudge matches offensive and pathetic. Come on, Memir. She went to a university. Ok so Enabran has called a male "shrill." This makes Coco's case seem all the more contrived. _____________________

Ever go shopping in SL as a man? If I ever was shrill in my life it was when I first shopped for male clothes in SL. And when I go to a club or something half the crowd is angry wanna-be lesbians with their guns cocked ready to shoot me at the slightest hint of me acting like a man (ie myself). And talk about sexist, read your own post "as for you women defending these guys". These guys? WTF? "Guys" are the bad guys? OMG sooooo sexist! _____________________

I disagree that it's only about the person here in the forums. What I mean is it is about the person themself, not about their gender - which honestly none of us really know anyway. It is not a sexism issue, it is a personality issue. _____________________

Sorry I asked that you reconsider Aimee. Never apologize for asking! It's good to stay on the ball about these things! But this certainly isn't a legitimate feminist battle to me. It's a set-up. _____________________

Are these the same people that get up in arms over "female" nouns in spanish being denoted by "la" rather than "el"?
Sheesh. Trying to get this doomed thread back on topic, I don't think WF really understood what LL was able to provide, and once they figured out that a) we're insane, b) LL is small potatoes compared to a world bank, and c) the client/server can't be hacked apart on a whim, they went elsewhere. _____________________

I disagree. However I think a new thread should be started on the sexism issue in the forums.

I can't get that link to work, Memir. I never said I was the only one to have a right to an opinion about sexism. You said that. I calls em like I sees em, and that I do have a right to do. As a woman I think you would probably be seeing it the same way if you had been on the receiving end of it. coco _____________________
