From: Veritable Quandry What has me particularly stirred up in this case is that this type of disinformation is not just incorrect: it is harmful to the health and well-being of those who fall for it. Perhaps by at least poking the troll until it spits bile, we can help others from being taken in by this sort of homicidal ignorance. Hopefully most people will have better sense than to get medical advice from the same web sites they go to for information on black helicopters, the ZOG/Illuminati/NWO, Reptilian-Humanoid conspiracy, Holocaust denial and other assorted light fiction.

From: Laurin Sorbet Nah, and when she is really reading you, she can't reply. Well, I did have a few more questions... I had never heard of Dr C before, so did a little search. Scary. Do you think the woman believes that anal penetration of a child makes them immune or just gives their brains more energy?

From: Briana Dawson The military does mandatory vaccinations including flu shots.
When it was flu shot time, i used to take a red marker and make a few dots on my upper arm and then cover that with a band-aid and whenever i was told "go get your flu shot" i would just raise my short sleeve and show them that i already had. They were pretty strict with me because i refused to get the Anthrax shot and hid out on the aircraft carrier for 10 hours avoiding the shot. So ever since then, they would literally 'order' me down for my shots. The flu shot i could spoof my way out of. Unfortunately i had to get all 6 Anthrax shots, and those suckers were the 3rd most painful thing i have gone through (#1, Child birth, #2, Sciatic nerve, #3 Anthrax shot) but now i have the benefit of being able to snort it, yay! Oh and my kids were born without issues. Double yay! Funny thing about the flu shots mandated by the military: During the 20 years I was in the Navy, I got the mandatory flu shot every year (my last two years, I was offered the nasal spray, which I gladly accepted - beneficial or not, I fucking hate needles!). In that 20 years, I believe I got the flu exactly twice; once was a fluke, occurring within my first two years; the second was likely due to a mismatch, as I was living in Japan at the time, and they got a different strain than what the US got. After having retired from the Navy, I stopped getting shots. I was fine in 2007; but in the 2008-2009 Winter season, I came down with the flu twice, and so far this season, I am currently recovering from a particularly nasty case of the flu. Next year, you can be sure I will be rolling up my sleeve for that flu shot! Anthrax. If ever there was a controversial vaccination amongst Navy members, that was it. The rumors and conspiracy theories I overheard regarding it aboard my ship when the series became mandatory would make Debra's theories seem quite sane. Nevertheless, although a few people were court-martialed for repeatedly disobeying a lawful order and unauthorized absence, and several more were administratively discharged when they suddenly cited religious beliefs against the vaccine, nearly all of us, me included, got the series. I am not quite sure I would rate the pain of the anthrax vaccine as low compared to childbirth as you did (they don't give you an epidural when you get the damned shot, after all). But I did get, not only the series of six, but also three boosters. Everything I knew about anthrax and what it does to the human body told me that, even if the chance of encountering the stuff while deployed to the Gulf was minuscule, it was still an unacceptable risk, so I had no qualms about the shot (even if I did cry like a baby after getting each one).

From: Debra Himmel You are unable to dispute that the two examples I gave for curing cancer do not work. Finally, you are seeing the light! And this time, it is *not* from the Illuminati! From: Debra Himmel They clearly do and are not being used by the medical establishment to help people. Instead they continue to mutilate women with breast cancer and continue to kill people with chemotherapy. It doesn’t matter that the drug companies don’t want to do this, but it does that the medical establishment refuse to implement these cures. Hmmmmm, I don't know... Possibly, maybe because THEY DO NOT WORK?

From: Debra Himmel Well I guess it must have been my imagination that when I get the flu it is gone in 12 hours after taking the silver. Or maybe it was the tooth fairy. Never underestimate the power of the placebo effect.

From: Meade Paravane Why are you people still arguing with this insane person? Probably the same reason we cannot resist watching a building burn down, watching a freeway overpass collapse, watching a tornado rip through a town, or watching a massive train wreck.

The Anthrax series was by far the most painful inject i have ever experienced and the weird part was each one was different. #1 hurt, #2 i didn't feel anything, #3 was a lil painful, #4 sent me crying for a while and #5 and #6 were so painful i just remember laying in my bunk until i was out. I got an epidural for the birth of my son but when i had my daughter the epidural was administered poorly and was only affecting one side of me and that was not a good feeling at all. I clearly remember the part of the doc telling me to lay on my side and let it "creep across", while i was having labor pains. Government health care yay! But really, i am thankful i had both my kids in the Navy, the bill for childbirth is like 15k.
Way to go on serving for 20 years!

From: Debra Himmel You are also going on the ignore list. Pretty soon Debra will be allllll alone on the Forums and wondering why nobody is posting any more. Am I on your list yet, Debra dear? If not, please put me there. I'd hate to say anything else to disturb your warped and wacky worldview. Not that I need to. Following your insane beliefs will, IMO, soon make you a candidate for the Darwin Awards.

From: Ceka Cianci plus everyone around me gets bit by ticks and chiggers and mosquito's. If you eat garlic and take vitamin B1, all the mosquito's will pick another target. They don’t like it. From: Ceka Cianci I use a ton of home remedies and things my great grandmother was using in all her years.. One of my ambitions is to own my own organic farm. It won’t have any animals, but not because I don’t like meat, I just never eat much. I want to have one that is large enough to also feed a lot of the local population. Maybe do something like all the food you want but help with the farming a little. I just want it to break even. From: Ceka Cianci I'm willing to try anything once..if it works i'll use it again...if this silver stuff helps to fight off the flu before the symptoms show up that would be a great thing..nobody wants the flu.. It’s important to make your own. It’s not difficult and doesn’t take long. The colloidal silver you can buy in the shops will probably not work as the silver will no long be in suspension in the water because the product is likely to be older than 3 months. This does not apply however to the Super Silver product which will last for a few years and I only use when I do have something as I do not take the colloidal silver each day. If you use colloidal silver in the final rinse of you clothes washing, you will find that they stay fresher for longer because some of the silver particles will end up in the fabric. From: Ceka Cianci as far as vaccines..if i have to take them i will..i mean if there is something out there that can grab me and kill me in 12 hours and they have something that will stop it..i'm gonna get it.. If you are going to take vaccines, be warned that taking colloidal silver will kill the virus in the vaccine so no anti bodies will form if the vaccines do work. I have a friend who had to get hepatitis B or C vaccinations because she was working with old people. However, she didn’t really want to take it. So she would take the Super Silver just before and after she had the vaccine. They would then check a few months later to see if anything had happened, maybe for anti bodies and then give the second vaccine in the course. They never found anything because the Super Silver killed it. They tried several times and then gave up. From: Ceka Cianci Anyways..this is probably all gonna sound like dribble and all over the place..i'm on lunch and just trying to fit all i had to say in a short time ..so hope i hope it doesn't sound too confusion to anyone LOL Actually, I enjoyed reading your post Ceka.

From: Melita Magic Honestly? The way a majority of the 'regulars' treat people here, that might be a GOOD thing. Argh. Again with the clique? You're wrong, Melita. MOST people who come to these forums get help and a warm welcome. Some come looking for a fight, and they find what they're looking for. Some come trolling to stir up controversy. All too often, they succeed. I've fed trolls myself, darn it. Some are just plain looney. You can say anything you want to them, be it sound and reasoned advice or rude insult, and the result will be the same: more looniness. I stand by my assessment. Debra is a loon. That won't stop me from teaching her to texture a prim or edit an attachment, but darned if I'll waste any more time listening to her wacky conspiracy theories.

No 'clique' just contagious behavior. And a certain amount of territoriality that bears frequent self 'checks' to avoid.
Whatever one's opinion of someone they can be treated at least with courtesy, or if that is not possible somehow, with avoidance.
Ganging up on someone because one finds their views out in left field is - well I am feeling really disillusioned with this whole spectacle. Granted, self restraint goes both ways. Debra could've chosen not to post things like Alvaro quoted by her. But enough with the lizard stuff, everybody, I mean, it's just mean. It's like blood sport now.

And if Debra DOES happen to feel paranoid or anxious, what is this type of ganging up on, going to do? There are real people behind the avs, whether we like what theories they hold, or websites they read, or not.

Hmmm.
All right. I can admit when I've been an ass. Melita, I apologize to you and to the thread for contributing to the "piling on".
Doesn't change my opinion of the person in question, though. The best I can do is keep my mouth shut, and I'll do that.
