Second life and any other online game is not meant to be a substitute for real connection with real people. Its a game nothing more nothing less. How exactly are people getting off on this anyway? Do they have one hand on the keyboard and one hand on their privates? Try joining a social club and go meet a real live person who wants to have real live sex and a real live emotional connection. They say it takes 30 days to break a habit and longer to break an addiction. Dont log on for a few weeks and see if you feel better. Hope this helps  _____________________

I've found the best way to avoid sex in SL... is to act like you want it  I've gone a good while without any sort of pixel slapping... and all it took was acting like I wanted into every girls pants. They see me hitting on anything with 2 legs and toss me into not in this lifetime category. The unfortunate side effect is that if I ever do decide I would really like to get close to someone, I gotta work that much harder on it to gain there trust that i'm really not a slumdog.... but i'm sure she'll be worth it.- Micheal (or she'll really be a 65 year old man with voice changer....) |

These are very much REAL people here and the connections are very much REAL also. To many, SL is a game only, but it is so much more to many of us. Don't even begin to judge why others do what they do. It's becoming apparent that those believeing one particular group or another can't tolerate the other's way of using SL seem to be right, at least based on this thread. How about this? Enjoy SL however you wish, be it dating site, game, or the Metaverse (tm) as described in that stupid book. If you meet someone who does it differently and you can't get along....move on and mind your business.
