Just hold up a couple of Bloomingdales carrier bags.

When they stick their heads inside to see what's in there ... tie the handles together.

LOL.

Okay, now they're harassing her very regularly ... several different Goreans staring at her, pointing weapons at her, inviting her to seminars ...

Is she on their Sim, or are they following her around?

She has not gone back to a Gor sim since her first encounter. All the stalking has been on non-Gor regions.

How are they finding her?

I wonder if any of the anti-griefing groups might be helpful?

That suggestion back in the thread of putting on a dominatrix outfit is sounding better and better.

I'm beginning to wonder if there wasn't something about her encounter(s) with these guys that made them think she might be interested and just playing hard to get?

Seriously, if this carries on IM me and I'll come over and see what I can do. Get their names and groups to start with, then we'll take it to them, in their own sims if necessary.
You can AR them and report them to the Gorean Council. Serious Goreans hate this kind of shit and will expell people fpor this kind of nonsense.

One thing people miss is their "picks" , often they have the default setting to areas the frequent.

Once they know those its easy.

Also any group land which belongs to a group with open enrollment is easy to find.

also make sure she is wearing no objects from those gor sims.

Once they know hangouts they can find her if she goes there ...

Also thanks to the wonders ot the searchbot , if she has any objects on her land set to sale it will find the prims.

They're threatening her with seminars? Is there no depth to which they won't sink?

Obviously a low budget gor community if they have nothing better to do than stalk some newb outsider who thumbed her nose at them. Write em up, for harrassment, or for giving the Goreans a bad name ;)

pee in a full circle around you. This is like cryptonite to the goreans, and they will certainly leave you alone.

This is very bad advice and the last thing you should do. Goreans love pissing contests and they'll all want to be inside the circle with you.

Tell her, whatever she does, do NOT go for the donuts. Those are just bait to lure unsuspecting people into pointless meetings! Beware of anything involving Powerpoint slides, as well. I knew it wouldn't be long before the Goreans adapted modern forms of torture.

This is *totally* un-Gorean. Sure, she could warn/orbit them, or if they're wearing their silly GCS "combat meters", she could cage them herself with a simple hack to the channel 20 script they all use... all of which might be amusing but not very productive. They must be n00b Goreans (Gor got a huge burst of untrained "Masters" and "Mistresses" in recent months, so this is pretty likely), or they could possibly belong to some renegade Gorean "City" (sim) that is run by n00b Goreans, or they're just pretending to be Gorean some of the time. The most likely solution is to just track down through profiles and search what City they come from and the Admin or Ubar, or failing that, the chief Scribe for that City, and report the harassment with chat logs, etc. No need to be threatening or defensive--it will be deeply embarrassing to the City officials, if they understand SL Gor at all.

If that doesn't work, there is the Gorean Council, but it makes the United Nations General Assembly look positively efficient by comparison, so that's kind of a last resort before just ARing them for stalking.

[Edit: I should have explained: The reason to go through the Gorean channels first is that this will cause them *much* more trouble than a simple AR suspension, if they're associated with a remotely Gorean City. They'll lose rank and quite possibly real property as a result, and may well find themselves collared as punishment for these little escapades. The most the Lindens could do would be just delete their accounts--which wouldn't happen, and wouldn't be half as much fun if it did.]

I suspect there is more to the story than meets the eye.

She should just mute and ignore them and maybe next time remember to pay a little attention to notices when she visits someone's sim.

After being orbitted, caged, run over by numerous types of vehicles in my time as a Gorean by various "visitors". All I've given in return is the notecard with rules, a visitor tag and answered their questions.

Why? As a Gorean I'm quite sure you're aware that there are 'rebel' Goreans out there who seem to feel it's fine to take their roleplay outside their own sims. I've seen them do it and I've seen them harass people, both collared (non-Gor) and uncollared. And I'm sure you know that serious Goreans are also appalled by this kind of behaviour.
Perhaps you could talk to these people or at least take a look at what is actually happening.

No, but you get a free trip to Florida or Branson if you attend.

Whic is why I said mute and ignore them, AR them if necessary. The fact that they are Goreans, 'rebel' or not, is irrelevant.

In fact paying attention to them, treating them as rebels could well be exactly what they want.

You seem to be missing the point. They are harrassing her AS Goreans, outside their RP area, so their being Gorean is extremely relevant.

Maybe we need to form a Rebel Gorean Hit Squad, find these outcasts and return them to their natural habitat.

One thing from reading here, if you ARE in someone's RP Sim, play by their rules or leave. Saves a lot of trouble

No I'm not, haressment is haressment whether your dressed as a furry or a Gorean (who is trying to sell timeshares?).

The only thing that is relevant is that they are griefing her.

Groups that proclaim themselves to be anti-griefing groups in general tends to be griefing groups. Stay away from that.

Re: how they are finding her, no clue. Do they tend to find her in the same place? It may be that one of her friends is an alt.

It's likely that one of them is in the same group as your friend, and as such can tell when she's online. That doesn't let them *find* her, but if she has regular hangouts, they know when to look for her there.

Best advice: ignore them as much as possible. Mute them. Don't respond. Eventually they will get bored. If the harassment is a problem, file an AR each time it happens, but don't give them the satisfaction of knowing you have done so. Giving them no feedback whatsoever is your best approach.

Or speak to them using Multi Syllable Words. They will spend all their time in the library and forget all about you.

This is a good point.

Once they left their Gorean Sim and did their Gorean-themed harassment, they ceased being role players and became griefers.

She would be justified in ARing them for this sort of behavior.
