no doubt far more people populate the ban list here than over there... SLU is more cliquey and has more unwritten rules, but at least the moderator will actually ban people who are total asstards, unlike this one where they are allowed to fester for years (and I'm not referring to you, Conan.) _____________________

This thread made me pop over to SLU to check it out. I must say I was impressed,to soon to say if I will use it but I noticed some familiar names.It does make this place look dull and old hat though.IMHO

For someone who once said that she considered meanness to be the worst character trait, she is doing a remarkable job of demonstrating what she doesn't like. When she thought someone was using her own real life against her, she became very upset, yet feels no remorse about doing it to another? honestly, i dont see a lot of trolling or personal attacks here.
i see some stirring and whatnot, but i dont generally see the personal attacks and demonisations here that i saw over there. a thread or two might occur here and there, but i dont see the same sort of entrenched rivalries here. no, j.n. and i were already acquainted at sc. he brought his beef with me to slu when i arrived and exploited his relationship with the admin to get me banned right off the bat. and it was a debate. failure to press the question (which was a response to a typical 'youre a fool' comment) would have been letting him off the hook. go look it up, its called 'americans are stupid' and it is quite enlightening i assure you. Ok, in which case your "opportunity" began when you stepped into SC. In SC you arrived with 0 posts and your keyboard, and a clean slate. As for the "asians are bad drivers" statement Dancien brought up, unfortunately Prin, I will attest that you did say exactly that, not an interpretation, but verbatim. I'm asian, I'm a good driver, I did take offense but didn't blast, and that's one statement I can't forget. I was actually planning on not mentioning it. _____________________
