Didn't want to read the whole thread to find that quote. But Hilter wasn't Christian. He was Catholic. Big difference. Catholics didn't even read The Bible until around 1960's. Mass was always in Latin until around the 1960's. Catholics believe in a lot of tenets that Christians do not. Hitler was raised Catholic and wanted to be a priest. When in the priestiary or whatever it's called, Hitler got into mysticism as well as evolution. He started to believe that the Nordics were from the lost continent of Atlantis and never inbred with animals or evolved from animals (apes) and thus were some type of superior race. Hitler wanted to kill Jews not because he was Christian and they were Jewish but because he saw Jews as lower on the evolutionary scale as they are one of the oldest races along with Africans whom he also believed were lower on the evolutionary scale and closer to animals (or apes). Hitler also wanted to kill and did kill many disabled people as his goal was for himself and the Nazis to breed the perfect Arian race, which he believed in his crazed mind were the Nordics (blue eyed blondes) from the lost continent of Atlantis.

Hitler wasn't a man nor a Christian, he was a monster.

Okay, I know I'm coming in late but I'm new and was browsing the threads and just had to say something about this. Avawyn, where are you getting your history? The Catholic church was the original Christian church. For years and years if you were Christian it meant you were Catholic. Ever heard of a thing called the Reformation? That's when Christianity broke into Catholics and Protestants. Yes, that's the word you're looking for. Protestant, not Christian. Catholics and Protestants are both Christians. The main difference is that the Catholic church has remained basically intact and whole while the protestants have separated into numerous other sects (Lutheran, Baptist, etc). Catholics most certainly did have bibles before the 1960's, and it doesn't matter what language the mass was in as it's not language that makes you Christian or not. It's believing in and following Christ. I personally belong to no specific church, but I think it's incredibly rude of you to insult all of the Catholics around the world by challenging their Christianity, and in such a way that makes you seem very ignorant on the topic of your own religion (note that I'm not saying you are uneducated in general, but when it comes to the history of Christianity it certainly seems you missed a few lessons.)

Oh, and as to the original topic of the thread: I think that SL, while an extension of their RL for some, is an opportunity to play around and experiment for others. So some men playing women are probably just having fun by doing something different, or like to look at their female avatars more than they would a male one, or are using that avatar to play out some sort of fantasy (lesbian fantasies, anyone?). Some might be experimenting with the idea of being a woman without actually becoming one (maybe to see what it's like for women). Truthfully, I don't think there's anything wrong with it or even in not revealing their real gender, unless there's a proposal to take a relationship offline. Then it seems to be ethical to tell. Otherwise, I agree that SL is largely a fantasy world, no matter how real it sometimes seems, and so if people want to live out these fantasies and it's not breaking any rules or anything, why not?

It's because they don't have tails. Humans are sadly shortchanged in that department, and a butt without a tail just doesn't look right.
