My Avatar is a girl. A reflection of me? Sometimes, I guess, but more in secret ways. Just trying something different. Though I did wear wigs in RL for a while like the one my avatar is currently wearing and in different shades. I even sold wigs for awhile. With cancer patients, it was tough to see. However, the man went nutz and treated me like I was a princess. It was a nice time.

I have really big ta tas, but I like them. Currently role playing breast implants, which I never had in rl. I was always told I had nice ta tas in rl. So, I was blessed with that!

However, my avatar feels nothing from the breast implants. She is only a 3d object, but with a bit of a soul that is me.

Some say SL is not a game. To some it is and to some it isn't. To some it is merely a creative media or to see it as a goal to make an income or get noticed. To some it is a place a network with others for business or companionship and fun too. Some of families could have reunions on the internet.

SL is all kinds of things.

I don't think people should insult an avi, but to some I need to tell that I'm just not attracted to you and I'm sorry. I still retain my rl attration for some reason. Only one avatar I was really attracted too. ;)

How is that even vaguely possible, since the world hasn't existed for much more than 6000 years?

It was found in Ethiopia. You'll have to try to research it. Try typing in JOB ETHIOPIA, etc...

So, changing the subject.

Anyhow are you currently in an elf suit? And, if so, why?

That would come as quite a surprise to Lot and his wife who weren't married or Job and his wife who weren't married?

Lot predates Christianity. So does Job. The operative religion you are looking for is called Judaism. It's by that menorah under the christmas tree, right beside the yule log and the saturnalia punch. Watch out for the white bull! Mithra is a handful this time of year...

I do think it's over for the state of California. The majority wins in a state's right issue, no matter how small or wide the margin.

I have no comment on the issues in this thread other than to note that it is not over in the state of California. http://www.courtinfo.ca.gov/presscenter/newsreleases/NR66-08.PDF

Religion hasn't had men with guns to do it's bidding in many many years. Unlike every politician alive today.

And yet religion pervades politics. The politicians equip armies in the name of God and the cause of right and morality. So, at the root of the gun-toting "liberation" of other countries lies religion and the deception that they are right because they believe in God so God is on their side.

I keep waiting for the human race to evolve past it's need for mythology and start seeking truth.

/me notes that dancing does NOT apparently lead to post-marital sex.

Pep (Which is why you'll always find me in the kitchen at parties, not on the dance floor)

I keep hoping that dancing will lead to pre-marital sex. One can hope, can't he?

Thanks for the link, Soji. :)

And you're correct, it's not over. It's never over until love wins out over hate, and you just have to have faith that it always will. Hate is never "right", it's just louder and often gets its way, but we see from history that hate's way is always temporary. Love (and Justice) is patient and persistent, and that's why we will win. Maybe not today, maybe not next year, but the day WILL come when people will laugh and sneer at the stories of those who were opposed to same sex marriage, the same way they laugh at and deride those people who didn't want women to have the vote or slaves to be freed.

Whether those backward individuals like it or not, the world moves on.

My own partner is against Gay marriage...and he has been gay all his life.
I don't entirely get it. I would love some day to met someone and be able to marry,
have all the rights Heterosexuals take for granted. I don't know if it will ever change.
I don't think everyone who is against Gay marriage hates others who wants it, they just are stuck in certain belief system created by religions like Christianity, Bahai's and others that think only certain type of relationships are worthy of marriage, i.e between Men and Women, and any others aren't as valid.
It is very difficult sitting in room with a Man I love listening to as he truly believes Gay relationships are based on lust and sin, but Heterosexual relationships aren't, especially when we have been together for long time and our relationship is 99% celibate.

Any man on SL who claims they haven't made themselves a female alt and had a blast doing it is lying through their teeth. Who could resist the temptation going around with your female alt and strutting your stuff, and no it doesn't make you gay! This is half the fun of SL getting yourself an alt and giving her some big tits, then going around and slutting out with her.

And I would definitely agree that women have become the dominant sex, which I don't mind one bit, I can put up with it as long as my needs are being fulfilled. I think society will swing back the other way someday once everyone sees what kind of world we get with women in control of everything! Not only that but as more men are being transformed into effeminate wimps at the hands of all the dominant females its increasing the value for those of us remaining who are real men.

Boy, I just love gross generalizations. I have not now, nor will I ever dress up as a female and I will not have and never have had a femaile alt.

Call me old-fashioned, but I am a man everywhere I go and I don't apologize for being a man, and I never pretend to be anything else.

Where on Earth did find any information of groups of atheists running around killing people?

Russia? (Russian Orthodox Church)
Hitler? (Christian)
England? (Church of England)

What mass murders are you on about?

Fortunately for you if you like that sort of thing, there are plenty of women that do see things that way- but don't lump us all together- I am damn happy to let Nature take it's course and see no reason to usurp a man's place- very happy being female, tvm. Doesn't make me a doormat either by the way- I am strong willed and just a wee bit stubborn ;) and some here may attest to that.

Um, Steely...the Stalinists who conducted the Russian purges were atheists. They did their level best to stamp out the Russian Orthodox Church. And Hitler was not a Christian...he adhered to the weird Aryan mythology. I don't think they acknowledged a god, unless it's Odin.

Is Second Life a religion? It displays many characteristics of a religion.
