From: Faithless Babii Absolutely agree with the ability to mod prims on another person, that would ROCK . Maybe a tick box to give permission on the friends list, like we have now for objects etc..
The ability to have a history of where youve been for the time youre in world. (can I do that already?)
Yes yes yes Id love to wear a necklace with a collar too!
Im sure there is a very valid reason for not making skins transfer and hair also (?) but Id really like the option of selling/giving away my stuff when I tire of it.Im getting a bit more picky where I shop these days..and unless its a mega sale, where I can understand maybe they dont want people mass buying it to sell themselves at low low prices later , I vote with my wallet and buy mostly from stores that offer transfer rights. (havent found a hair place yet that does though)
The BIG one...from Linden labs..an increase in prims for estates, hell for everyone!!! I think the reason for the no transfer on hair, is because they are mod, and of course with mod, ppl want copy, so just in case, they have a back up same with skins, ppl tend to like to have the copy, so they can do full folders with skin shapes etc it is hard to please the masses... my store has a variety of permissions, and if someone wanted a permission set that is not offered, and it is reasonable (not copy and transfer together) I am usually more than willing to help them out. After all it only takes me a couple minutes to change permissions, pack them up and ship them out.

My Christmas wish from content creators
11-23-2008 14:47
Scripters! Stop listening to channel 0! ao's that are turned on and off with ao on and ao off? Bad idea. How about /3 ao on or /3 ao off? Same for bling on in rings and necklaces, ykstand etc. in a bdsm collar, settext I've got floating text over my head! for custom titlers......
Listening to channel 0 = lag processing public chat, and unintended spam.
Listening to a non-zero channel = less lag and less public chat spam.
=========================
As a separate Christmas wish, if you've got a fantastic gesture that you absolutely love, don't fire it off 300 times in 10 minutes in a club. And knock it off with the gestures that use like 20 lines to form an ascii picture. Just go to one club where half the people present are doing these things and try to actually get attention in the middle of all that. It can't be done. And for crying out loud, please, if you do like to use gestures, at least talk now and then. Those who can't say anything without a handy pre-programmed gesture for it, just prove they have nothing to say.

More hats, like someone else said. Also an option to pick whether you want the texture on the jacket, undershirt or shirt. Or even a no-transfer texture so we can put it where we want to without selling what we make, if that's possible. Whichever is easier.
Also: More makeup options with skins. :3
And more men's hair.
And fun Christmas themed games/events with prizes, meeting people, and having fun.
Maybe someone should put off a Christmas play! I'd go. :3

More hair without face lights or resize scripts in them. Increase in clothes that are modify and don't have resize scripts in their prim parts. More shoes that don't have AO's and "sexy walks" in them. More jewelry that has bling off by default, in fact more jewelry without bling altogether. More shoes that have real toes. A set of wearable real feet (a compliment to real toes shoes for when you have naked feet). More clothing that is sold with the option of transfer or copy. More prefabs that are sold copy *and* modify or with the option or transfer and modify. More vendors getting rid of that stupid, spammy and totally useless CopyBot protection scheme that is common.

From: Skell Dagger Submissives, ever had your collar detach when you've been trying on a coat with a prim collar? Funny story on that one (well in retrospect) - when my Gorean clan first arrived here from IRC of course the first purchase for one of the Masters was a collar for his girl. It was scripted so that if the collar was removed, a notice was sent to the Owner/Master. The girl was having fun trying on different silks and some of them had a neck attachment that would kick off the collar. It took quite awhile to explain to her Master (who isn't real computer savvy to begin with) that the girl wasn't taking it off herself. From: Skell Dagger Married couples, ever had a bracelet or glove cuff remove your wedding ring? This one drives me nuts. I have several outfits that have really nice prim cuffs that knock off my ring. On one particular outfit I tried putting the cuff on another attachment point and moving it around, but it never looked quite right.

From: Rhaorth Antonelli one of the biggest wishes I have had since joining, is the ability to mod items that are attached to someone else (with their permission of course) Which reminds me again that I would love to have a way to organize other people's inventories...a SL "closet organizer."

From: Shelley Galicia Some of us like to cover our butts (literally and figuratively) when we go swimming. How about some modest one-piece suits, or at least bikini bottoms that cover a little more skin? (With that said, I did find a nice swimwear set at Reaction that has a set of boardie shorts with it). I'm with you on this and found this suit I am so going to get (the designer has it in a lot of different colors). It looks exactly like the suit I used to wear when I was on a swim team back in the day. http://www.xstreetsl.com/modules.php?name=Marketplace&file=item&ItemID=329534I also found a bunch of cute one pieces with a bit more style if the racing suit look isn't your thing by typing in "one piece swimsuits." Also most of the designers of 1940's - 1950's clothing have some cute swimsuits.

From: Czari Zenovka Which reminds me again that I would love to have a way to organize other people's inventories...a SL "closet organizer." heh no thanks on that one I would not want someone to be into my inventory, and I have no desire to try to organize someone else's hehe (heck I do not organize my own) my inventory is mine, and very personal and private (to me anyway), and I would hate the idea of someone else snooping around in there (or "organizing" it how they think it should go) I also do not like anyone to mess around with my cupboards in the kitchen in RL, or put my clothing in the wrong place, etc with the ability to mod prim parts being worn, there would be no going into the inventory... I have pictured this so many times in my head nice little fitting work room, with pretty tables and such kinda like a salon or spa, and a posing stand that they stand on and I adjust their prims, nice soothing music playing in the background. Fitting room would be far enough away from the store (skyward) that other customers would not be walking in when stuff is being fitted I would SOOOOO love to be able to do that for folks.... however as it stands now... I can't because we can not mod stuff when it is worn on another avatar even WITH mod permission rights! GRR

I need to double check and make sure the ones I do have out there are mod (I think they are) but can't remember... eventually I want to switch all my permissions to copy/mod on everything in the store... and put up a sign if someone wants alternate perms just to ask

No, in conjunction with this thread: /327/b5/291337/1.htmlAs for "why" (from the above thread): From: Czari Zenovka I really wish there was a way to help organize other people's inventories - like people in RL who are hired to organize homes and offices. I honestly have fun sitting in my SL home weeding/purging/organizing my inventory and would LOVE to figure out a way to turn that into a business. Organizing RL & SL is something I enjoy doing and have a talent for. In the classes I teach in SL, when the subject of inventory organization comes up I have had people say "I wish you could organize my inventory for me."

From: Felix Oxide Certainly the proper business ethic to have. I wish all content creators were as accomodating. Unfortunatly I have had more negative responses than positive to such requests, but usually from the less "hungry" creators. there are more hungry clothing creators than you think in SL...some of them quite accomplished too. I really never did get the 'no mod' glitch pants...I mean, 75% of the time, there is nothing special about the pant except the color matches the skirt. All my clothing is copy/mod. I used to keep a vendor up that sold transfer items, and no one ever used it...I got a few ppl who said they refuse to use vendors and that's about it. I talked about using the script that offers the buyer either copy or transfer on an item, and people said no no they want to see what is in the folders. /sigh Offering 2 of each item (one copy, one transfer) at the selling point (not using the vendor script) means double the prims which isn't really an option for me right now. I did try this once tho, and you will never guess what happened...that's right, someone messaged me saying they 'meant to buy the transfer version and bought the copy version by mistake and I should make it right because it is confusing' (of course I did give them another tranferable one but took the option down right away because the last time something like that happened I had about 10 ppl message me the next day and I'm like wtf its the free stoff grp?) I most often offer each part on all available layers (and even then I hear from a few people who would rather not buy 20 items every time they buy an outfit). The moral of the story is, no matter what you do, someone isn't going to be happy I am always willing to work with someone though, and will always package up something transfer if that is what someone wants. Last week I saw an av with a distinctly masculine name buying ladies wear and sent him a little message...yup, it was for his girl lol. I just got her name and sent her off one of everything he bought (I mean, it's no transfer, and unless he was planning on wearing a dress...what's he going to use it for?) I will always work with someone to try to give them what they want, but as far as offering it, I guess I just have to pick a format and roll with it.

I would like skirts, either separate or with business suites, with hemlines below the knee. All that I have seen or bought are above the knee. In my work most women, when wearing skirted suites, have hems a few inches below the knee.

If I can have another wish, it would be for hair that came in sets for a single basic style and different ways of wearing it. For example, in RL I have long hair. Sometimes I wear it loose; sometimes I place it into a ponytail. Other times I were it up in sort of a bun. I can quickly go from one to another.
I could duplicate that in SL by having several sets of hair, and switching from one to another. However, if they are from different designers or vendors they may have slightly different colors, lengths, or cuts. A package of two or three different styles that were identical except for the way they were worn would be nice.
