lias...ive been asking and asking for this evidence of pedophilia in sl that you are basing much of comments on and yet you refuse to provide any. i think many of us here might be open to learning about this and could possibly change our minds if you could actually produce any...i know that is the case for me.

i have no vested interest in supporting child avs...i dont have one, i am not one, and i dont really hang out with any and rarely even come in contact with any. but it does trouble me to have any group maligned with what appears to be no evidence at all of these sexual situations.

i find it amusing that you keep calling everyone else in this thread an apologist when, for the most part, im seeing people just not into what appears to be a nasty form of prejudice no matter which group it might be against.

The top picture is of a different avatar with different hair and clothes and shape - a small child with a sex toy in her mouth. The bottom avatar is of your teen avatar. The two are not the same. And the top picture is not considered PG - because of the sex toy in the child's mouth.

This is the bit I don't understand. If, as a result of a sim crash, child avatars (or anyone else) were suddenly to find themselves involuntarily logged in at Lias' sushi bar or my Zindra furniture shop, I could see the problem. But I genuinely don't see what's so bad about them fetching up at Arapaima as opposed to any other Infohub. Arapaima is in the middle of the ocean and there's no adult content anywhere near Ortiz, at least none that I could see when I took a quick look at the place yesterday.

There is no reason for child avatar wearers to adult verify and risk being thrown into an adult area that does have adult content visible or on the parcel itself.

Somthing tells me Halloween in SL is going to be horribly boring.... Unless everybody age-verifies and musters over to the nearest Adult-rated sim for the finest in Halloween ghoulishness!

I do not agree. Verification means nothing at all except you can access adult content.

Putting payment information on file is verification. Everyone who has ever bought L$ through the viewer is verified.

And how could that happen as a result of someone being logged in at Ortiz or Arapaima? You did say,

all the adult rating is for is commercial..for places like free sex clubs or businesses that wish to sell to the public or places that want to rp say Gore stuf or whatever..

the whole move was about commerce..it had nothing to do with residents having orgy balls in their houses or bukakkee stuff or operating tables..

i could live on a 512 plot and have my friend come over and we could have a gore party or orgy or slash each other to bits.it would still be mature rated if it were not promoted and behind closed doors..


private use is on any pivate land even in a shared sim or private region on the grid that is in mature..if they cam into your house your content or activities are still not anything more than mature..
you cannot get AR'd for something you have behind closed walls that is for your private use..
unless ofcaurse it is against the TOS like child sexual age play would be..

but as far as there being items that are made and that item being rated only adult rating? thats not how the rating system works..that item can be rated mature or adult..there is no such thing as an actual adult item that can never be mature item.. or content for that matter
