Enough saw it that way for the sanctions on this sub-set to be forced upon them. And that is still not enough of a hint for them not to shove pictures of children with sex toys in their mouths in everyone's face. And then doggedly defend it.

LL needs to clearly define what broadly offensive means or just ban the child avatar and end the controversy.

I ran a sex animations shop for years. I can in complete honesty say I NEVER even ONCE saw a child avatar in one of my shops. Furries yep regularly,adult humans you betcha even had a dragon and a robot trying out the anims one day but NEVER a child avatar.

Child Avatars DID occasionally come to our tringo events or shop the other stores but they never got within spitting distance of the THREE sex shops on the island. They did this on their own, there was no need for me to police it. Also this was BEFORE that german shock journalism piece that got the whole mess rolling against kid AVs.

My impression of kid AVs in SL is that they do a pretty good job of policing themselves.

I have never heard of "Pedo Play" except from you. Whatever it means to you, I am sure it is not relevant to a discussion of adults playing children in SL.

If you truely believe this then I would strongly suggest to you to do the following.

Get in world and gather your evidence

Present it to the Lindens who ARE int he position to do something about it

Yeah I think Adult/Kid sex is completely reprehensible. I have only once encountered it in SL and that was in a club. I left and AR'd. That was 5 years ago. If it is so mainstream and prevalent and you feel so strongly about it then I would think you would feel obligated to actually do something constructive to stop it. I don't believe it is mainstream nor do I think it is at all common. IF I happened across it again I would report it. But thats a big IF...you seem to be on a one avatar crusade...so maybe go crusade where it might do some good.
