Many, perhaps most, SL posters to the forum with a first name of Phil enjoy rubbing their own feces over their bodies as they post argumentative an infamatory comments.

what does this say about the hundreds of male noobs that i see with wooden genitalia who show up to free sex sims thinking they are going to get sex "just because they have a cock"? I don't see this in female noobs...ONLY male noobs. Am I supposed to think that males in general think soo much of themselves that simply because they have a penis every woman wants to have sex with them?

I'm a female avatar in SL (and a female in RL). I think my avatar is attractive, as far as avatars go, and I worked a lot to make her that way. I have found that many, if not most, woman avatar in SL don't think anything like you say they do, Phil. I do, however, think that many men (but not most) DO want to hit on my avatar simply because she's a female avatar. They know nothing at all about me, so it HAS to be the avatar they are "attracted" to, correct??? So, if female SL avatars, many if not most, do think that men want to have sex with them simply because they are a female avatar, then the behavior of "some" SL male avatars have led them to this belief.

And, since men are scientifically proven to rely more on visual stimulation than woman are, I'd say that *many* men in SL ARE attracted to the avatar. I also don't just need science to tell me that men are "visually stimulated". I also don't need one more male avatar to tell my avatar how "hawt" she is. Because they do....quite often. So many sad, sad people, huh?

I've enjoyed this thread, but now I've had enough of it. I'll spell it out very clearly and then leave it be.

I have found many females in SL who think that men want to shag them just because they are female and they think their avs are so attractive. They are wrong. They think way too highly of themselves. From what I've seen, many females in SL are like that - maybe most of them are. If you are one of them, I can understand you disliking someone saying that you are not what you think you are. If you are not one of them, I can see no reason to be offended, or to be on the defensive. It is not sexist. It's an observation.

The other main thing that cropped up is what I think of people who get it off on drawings. I've stated my view about such people, to which I am fully entitled, and my view is no more judgemental than some people's view that I'm a jerk (both are judgemental, btw) I'm happy to be considered a jerk because of that view.

I'll leave this thread with a reminder of the reasons why I am so dislikeable:-

1. I use traffic alts.

2. I defend the use of temp rezzers, and even used to sell one.

3. I think that people who get it off on animated drawings are sad.

4. I think that many SL females think much too highly of themselves, just because they are female.

5. I think it's Colette's nature is to insult people.

It's not sad that men are visually stimulated..its sad that women don't seem to understand the power the wield over men visually.

I think Phil meant that he's tired of you girls thinking that you wield power over all men on SL and assume that all men want to have sex with you simply because you exist. Some guys, you probably do have that power; guys like Phil, you don't.

He's assuming we think that way, and some might, but 'many, perhaps most' is completely overstating the issue. His whole "such and such is sad" is also incredibly condescending.

I'm surprised that he wasn't stopped cold in the assumption that people enjoy having cartoon sex. People don't enjoy cartoon sex...the cartoons are only tools..pictures in playboy are airbrushed and pixelised just like the skin I wear.

how can Phil not understand that him saying "they are wrong" is a false statement. If he said, "I have found many females in SL who think that I want to shag them just because they are female and they think their avs are so attractive to me. They are wrong." then his statement would be fine. He talks for all males, assuming, like most people do, that he is normal, and that there is a minority of odd people different than him. From my own experience, on SL, RL, and in Psychology in general, his views are more than likely in a small minority of men. Most men, in my experience, are first attracted to physical looks (even avatars), in choosing who to pursue.

But I do agree that I've seen many women (at least women AVs) on SL that are extremely full of themselves... just as I've seen many men that way too.

I seem to remember my answer to friends out world when asked if there was prositution in SL. I told him yes there is and they are called Escort, its not the only way to get pixel sex, but it's often the quickest. Yes I know there are frisky women out there willing to have casual pixel sex with any man that asks, but I would think often time there are only two options, pay for it or cultivate a relationship that become intimate.
