If we're looking for 'things to do' in the plot, I have what is <shameless plug>probably the best 10 pin bowling game in SL</shameless plug>. I have full rights to it and I'd be happy to donate a building with a couple of lanes in a spare corner.
It would be free to play. If people want this, then one of the officers can send me an IM in world and I'll sort something out. _____________________

I just came home from hospital and now I read about all this. Can I still donate? Hi, all L$ go to CartelTrustAccount Mumfuzz. Tier donations go to The Forum Cartel group. Thanks for asking! For double book keeping, IM or PM me the amount of L$ you donate to Mumfuzz. Keeps us all honest. ![]() We made great progress tonight in our land search and should have that piece of the pie, er, penguin, I mean puzzle taken care of in the next day or so. A personal "holy crap" at all the generosity displayed by this group of fine young parrots, er, avatars. _____________________

Just a few words to those suggesting different themes or builds .. and anyone who just likes checking things out ... try the Mystery sim.
Just a quick fly-by (unless you have a couple of hours to kill) but it enshrouds so many ideas here .. and I was so impressed I wanted to plug it anyway ![]() and the fact they portray a couple of local landmarks I found delightful. _____________________

I would also encourage people with building ideas to talk to Chris Norse or Incanus Merlin. People with exterior/gardening ideas, talk to Malachi Petunia. Guys, this is going to be fantastic! I'm so excited about all the ideas that have popped up!

Was the Chutes and Ladders build already taken? There are no sugary substances involved with Chutes and Ladders. ![]() _____________________

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things. Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut. |

Quickie meeting rundown
09-19-2007 00:42
Well kids,
We had a happy and successful meeting today. We had sort of a random sit down for a few hours before hand, during which I noted all the various suggestions that we've been given over the last few days, and a bunch that came up today inworld. Thanks to ALL who showed up; your presence and suggestions were very much appreciated, both during the general chit-chat and the meeting itself. We had a rather rapidly paced agenda, but got through everything that needed covering. I'm going to merge the transcript with the agenda and give it to the Forum Cartel officers. It'll probably show up in a MUCH condensed format in the next day or two (who wants to read through an hour and a half of chat?), however the officers decide is best. All in all, though, I think and I hope that all who attended were pleased with the general way things are moving. No bickering, and lots of fun were had by all. (For some reason it ended up being a dragon-avi party; we had a whole family of dragons there! I think my notes are a little singed by all the dragon-breath...) Love to you all! Yours faithfully, Oryx Oh, and p.s. We ended up getting the next door 2048 from its owner, who was willing to sell to us! Hooray! ![]() _____________________

Oryx handled things with grace, efficiency and good humor. All the more impressive considering she was running the meeting as a giant raven.
We are in good wings, people. And fins, with our other trusted leader, Trout. _____________________

so we got next door too ...... bloody excellent, thats nice that is. I sat there with
everyone last night for a good couple of hours, I managed to put "face" to the name for a few people and was certainly suprised how many people though i was a girl *lol8 hahaha nope both in word and RL .. im a bloke .... guy ... fella....chap ... man. Watched as people threw up somebuilds... INCLUDING a MASSIVE office. I think this project is going well and im looking forward to being involved... in fact its quite exciting really, brings a sub culture to SL tha doesnt revolve around being a dead, blood sucking, furry gorean who likes gambling on adfarms while haveing gay sex with a bot. Of course if this is your thing ... then the Cartel is JUST for you *lol* _____________________

LOL Marty .. now I wonder if that supposition had anything to do with your previous avie title Juicee Girl?
![]() Yes, it is great to put even virtual faces to the names. I'd met three or four posters previously so was ready for more. I'm excited too. I was sceptical to begin with but I'm running with the idea now. _____________________

Yes this is all exciting good fun. Folks who go to the land today, be aware we did not clean up after yesterday's party. It's going to look a whole lot better when Malachi and Chris are done with it.
To that point, please do not get in the way or rez too much stuff while the landscaping and building is going on. Or at the very least, don't take it personally if your dragon droppings are returned to you. However, to the north of our group land, I bought a 2048 spillover parcel. Feel free to rez vehicles and boats. You can also crap that one up as much as you like (for now). ![]() Forum Cartel Spilloff area: http://slurl.com/secondlife/Allana/160/112 _____________________

Who did not show up with fins. I was very disappointed. =P I'm more of a trout chaser than an actual trout. I have a proclivity for standing around in rushing water, risking hypothermia, drowning and bear attack while waving around a stick with a hook and a bit of fur and feathers tied to it. Really a silly past time when you think about it. I come home drenched, frozen and exhausted and if I'm lucky, I have a fish that I could have bought for $3 at the grocery store. Although, Oryx did look very intriguing as a raven. If she drops a few feathers, I could use those. Some nice black soft hackle for collars or the biots off the leading edge of a flight feather for the wings of a little nymph pattern. /me looks at Oryx out of the corner of his eyes. Just a little closer... It was a great meeting. I wish I'd been able to be there sooner. I can't wait to see what the builders come up with! _____________________
