The topic of pie has been around a lot longer then a month. It seems I remember it back when I started, 3.5 years ago. Maybe you should also have a shine to all the members of the forums that have been banned over the years. It would be like the beta wall that LL has. The fallen forum members wall. I always think it is PI...an infinite number stretching to infinity...baked into yummy goodness.. abstract and you can eat it!! |

Forum Hangout II was some dumb poll that I put up. It died a sad thread death. I felt it best not to stir up touching memories that might sadden us all. Basically it was lame. So I started FHIII.

Your funds are safe. I am in constant contact with Oryx and we are auditing by comparing the balance to her figures to the transaction history. It balances perfectly. I think it's more than the funds, though. It's a lot of L, but it's really not much in US$. Really. I've got that much in my wallet right now in cash. Folks, it turns out we are going to need about 1000x what we have now to buy my plane tickets. Wait! I mean buy the stuff we need for the clubhouse. That's it! Stuff for the...um...what did you say the weather was like this time fo year in Brazil? When's Carnivale again? Hah. Like I'm going to take off with the money. Oryx and the Cartel owners know how much is in there, and while it's going to be plenty to get this job done, it's less than we have in the petty cash drawer in my RL job for donuts on Friday and emergency postage (and my parking tickets, which are a write off if I got them while on business). The friendships here and trust people have placed in me to do a professional job managing the funds far outweigh the value of the Lindens with which they have entrusted me. _____________________

Sure, the cops get all the donut eating glory, but it's us regular guys, Joe Lunchboxes, who set the true donut eating standards. Who made the donut famous? It wasn't a cop. That's right, a simple nuclear factory worker by the name of Homer Simpson. Just a regular guy with a blue haired wife, three kids and dog and a cat.
