OK - on a more serious note, today is the day we've been talking about as a cut off for planning and a beginning of action. Oryx and I checked out a number of builds that were suggested to us in world and she and Raymond looked at land. We're ready to take the next step, which will be acquiring land, and in the meantime, Oryx and I will put our heads together with Inc and Chris and talk about the build. If you have any suggestions that we haven't heard yet, get them to me or Oryx now.

The two of us both see our roles as being coordinators. We make sure the experts have what they need to do their thing, then we step back and let them work in peace. We just keep the process moving along and make sure that it stays on track, (even if these threads don't). We are also working on a method for securing funds, so CartelTrustAccount will be less susceptible to hackers, etc. I'd rather not go into what we're doing along those lines in detail, but I want everyone to know that despite the jokes about Brazil and Ginko bonds, I am taking this trust very seriously and am making sure that the money you've entrusted to me is as secure as possible.

As soon as we have a piece of virtual dirt, we'll let you all know. I'm really looking forward to seeing it all come together. This is a pretty exciting project!
