Yeah it's a pain in the bum, because I paid a quarterly fee at $22.50 I was only allowed to buy $2.50 worth of L$ for my first month!!! That's assuming I've understood the blurb on the website correctly. That's only the first day...once you make the initial payment to LL, your limits start to increase. Bear in mind that they're cumulative though, so whatever you spend on day one reduces what you have available for days 2-13, and whatever you spend on days 1-13 reduces what's available for 14-27. http://www.secondlife.com/currency/describe-limits.php Body Politik and FNKY have good male skins. _____________________

ETD has great New resident Hair packs, and SinSkins also has a Free Pack of Skins for under 30 day avatars. Yeah ETD was one I was thinking too. Sin Skins don't do male skins do they? _____________________

I already have, a few days ago Very good. Sandy, look through that and you will find several LM's. One of them, a hair one, will take you to a place that has a free Jack in the box. I can't remember which hair place that is though. I know it isn't ETD or Gurl6. Maybe it is Calla (Calla?). _____________________

You can get an excellent free skin at Tete A Pied at the Nouveau sim. It's the best quality free skin for females on the grid. Not sure it would suit Sandy though, since he's also been asking about *cough* appendages  _____________________

Not sure it would suit Sandy though, since he's also been asking about *cough* appendages One of my very first friends was a very muscular man wearing women's under clothes (I actually mean "stout" not Arnold S.). Bald, had a beard. I think he was wearing make-up. Unfortunately I have never seen him on SL again.  _____________________

I already have, a few days ago Yes Sally did very kindly send me the pack a couple of days ago and last night I tried to retrieve it and use it, but for some reason I couldn't find it in my inventory. I'm sure it's still there somewhere. When I first started I went a bit 'collect crazy' and picked something up off every billboard I passed!!! I need to sit down and sort my inventory out but, and I'm sure you're with me on this one, I sit down, I go somewhere, I start talking to somebody, I try to attach an appendage, I end up wearing my t shirt on backwards, I look at the clock in RL and a thousand hours have passed! There's just so much to do and so little time. The truth is, I'm still so excited about the whole thing that I can't sit still long enough to actually read anything! Still the weekend is here, the weather is awful so I've got two full SL days coming up! |

I've sent you a landmark to Enkythings. The LM says shoes, but there's also a whole lot of 1L skins, shapes, hair, clothes etc. there. Edit to add: Landmark to Sarah Nerd's also thrown your way. Shop your heart out _____________________

There is a free male a/o there. It isn't the best thing in the world, but it is better than the default walk . . . I think. Also has many free or near free things. _____________________

Phat Catz (or however that is spelled, maybe just try Phat?) has free stuff, like nice clothes and shape. Many of the formal dance places (ok, I recall one) have free tuxes._____________________

You know what? If someone doesn't want to divulge personal info, then that info (and the reasons why they don't want to divulge it) are None Of Your Business. I don't mean that in a hostile way, but quite literally. Cool ... don't really care that much about others' RL except for simple conversation. I find it funny that people get really hot under the collar about their all-important personal details..hmm...now *that* gets my curiosity going too (joke)! The encouraging thing about all this is that people could easily lie about their personal details ~who would be the wiser? Yet, people don't do that for the most part. That's a good thing |
