Is the build actually even worth seeing? It's alright. Not groundbreaking enough to be worth any major fuss, or even to really change out of your avatar if you happen to be a furry IMO, but it's alright. It's not BAD, certainly. Technically speaking, it's quite well done. I think another poster somewhere in this thread said it felt "cold" to them... I can kinda understand what they meant, I find most RL builds that are strictly and photographically recreated in SL to feel the same way. It's a personal opinion, though, I suppose. _____________________

I truly find this funny how people who say they are so reasonable take the unreasonable path to solving a problem and claim that it was the only path to take and then expect some kind of respect for their lack of judgement on matters. Yup, that's about how we feel about your posts. And the post you changed wasn't your text dear, it was mine. You purposefully misquoted me *Shrugs* I really don't mind. Jsut pointing out how you preach one thing, but do another. I'm active here because I'm serveral people in one household, so splitting time is easy. How was your weekend? =^.^= ~Jessy Interesting first the beta i was testing went boom and then i watched this thread that makes no sense about furries not being allowd somewhere and then I tried to get to that somehwere but couldn't. Apart from that the tv sucks and my bbq steak was great  slugs ate the zucchini though we had to much rain last week and the garden is ruined  _____________________

How was your weekend? =^.^= ~Jessy I"m gonna try and explain this too you because i'm a glutton for punishement the original post made by the original poster was changed not be me or you or anyone else but edited with dramatic changes to detail BY the poster who made the post and started this thread now the post reads and by the hand of the actual author completely different. This is much much different them someone taking out the body text of your post and putting in a few nonsense silly things in a joking manner as happens quite often in threads in fact i've had it done to me about 5 times in this very thread also the pot kettle black i saw was made by someone else and not quoting anyone so when i see stuff like that 3 word posts that's usually flamebait also since your the one pointing it out Pot, kettle, black I'm going to make a huge assumption here and assume this is your alt and you made a posting booboo but I could be wrong So when someone removes the body of my post and puts in some nonesensical words its an attempt at sarcasm and humour not an attempt at actualy changing what i say and is completely different from a post being changes in 12 hour stretches by the author of the post regarding details and what was said. When this happens you start to wonder if someone is telling the truth or lying through their teeth. There is only one person in this thread that has dramatically changed the subject content of their posts three times and its the original poster who has changed the content of her original post 3 times and it now reads completely differently and claims that this problem was in fact solved before this thread was even posted. Now maybe its an english barrier thing but I dont think so hence I think someone is not quite telling the truth on issues so at this point because of the fact that she has changed her story three times with 12 hours or so between edits its probably that the truth about what is going on is not being told. make sense probably not to you oh well /shrug this is the third version of the original post apparently it was changed before as well and i read version number 2. from www.sl-newspaper.com: It's one of the most impressive builds I've seen in SL. A faithful reproduction of the Kolner Cathedral, and is the first part of Virtuelles Koeln, a project to recreate the city of Koln within SL, using technology from Google Earth to make the whole project. The mission statement for the project states that this will become a place for German citizens to call their own, and to operate as a platform for German companies and government to operate from, considering that Germany produces one of the largest proportions of SL residents. However, at the door of the Cathedral, which is opening at 11am today, is a sign, stating that no one wearing a headpiece (ie furries), wings, weapons, cigarettes or any other such unsavoury attachment will be allowed within the building. When I arrived at the site, Darkwolf Cale, a German resident, was distraught at the fact that, simply because he is a furry in SL, he is being excluded from entering this reproduction of one of his country's most famous landmarks. The explanation for this bizarre ruling, is that they take the holiness of even this virtual church very seriously, however they also state that their sponsors will have billboards posted around the area. So, I guess in this virtual church, money lenders are welcome, and due to the no wings rule, angels will be turned away. I was wondering how other religious sites handle this topic? I remember visiting the buddhist temple and the wailing wall and noone was bothered by the fact that I am a pink lynx. EDIT I have to make clear some facts because some people want to turn this thing against me. The discussion about this topic was initiated by the sim owner who I have in my friends list. This is in NO WAY an attempt to cause protests or grief or any other damage to the sim owner! It is about quiet discussions which already took place by the time I am writing this. We've already had the "griefing" debate - suffice it to say that I will never agree that a civilized protest is griefing. It is, in fact, one of the best ways to get your concerns addressed - theres a reason it's so common a tactic. _____________________

Except people were trying to clarify it with the sim owners, so... People even did, even successfully, because both the furry "side" and the "church side" had a lenghty and moderated discussion. Sadly exactly these people are being accused of being "griefers" now by some other people who didn`t attend these discussions even once eventhough an invitation was published. |

I got tired of cutting and pasting examples for you after post #74 I'm sure your going to close your eyes on this but in an attempt to talk reason to someone who says they were not crying racism here are a few examples of it and a bit of name calling for good measure I love going to see interesting builds. But I will NOT be going to see this while they have such a disappointingly small-minded/prejudicial ban in place, and I will be IM'ing all my contacts to explain why. Yours, Disgusted of Tunbridge Wells Exactly my point. So they have to include scalies, too. Then what? Black avatars? Short avatars? Non-registered-as-white-middle-to-upper-class-catholic avatars? Why am I not surprized that this bigottry comes out of Germany? Schmucks  Banning furries is just the same as banning black avatars, or avatars with red eyes. Everyone here is a member of the SL universe, including furries, robots or whatever. If I were really paranoid I would say this doesn't bode well for the future. You start by excluding them, then relocating them, then finally you usher them into the gas chamber? Goverment project for community interaction and they are banning portions of the community?
