I started reading the first book out of curiosity. It's not that bad. I watched a Gor movie on youtube. That was pretty bad.

I had a old fashion 'tent meeting' area. Some people studying for advanced degrees in religion would use the tent to hold meetings to discuss types of faith. Every Thursday we would get about ten Gor slave girls coming to the tent. They were quite upset with themselves that they had gotten involved with Gor in Second Life. They said they make very bad RL decisions. They had started SL to get some peace and had made the same mistake again. And they did not know how to get out of the situation they were in and begin to enjoy their SL.

Based on those encounters I do not suggest anyone get involved with that Gor stuff. It does not sound healthy at all.

Having been a Mistress in SL for a year and a half now , I can say that I come across all sorts of girls who want to be my submissives. They all have their own reasons for doing so. Some are RPers having fun and exploring, others are RL submissives who live the lifestyle 24/7.

The RL ones tend to be a bit dissipointed because I don't fit their expectations and seem to always be comparing me to their RL Mistresses etc.

The ones who come from a Gor background seem to be the ones who are brainwashed so to speak into just replying "whatever pleases you Mistress" everytime I ask their opinion about something....boring...

The RPers and the ones who don't take it too seriously are the best girls IMHO.

I have come across a few who are troubled in RL and Gor has really messed them up.
I believe these girls were troubled to begin with and Gor has pushed them over the edge. I don't hold Gor responsible for this as they could have watched a movie or listened to music and had the same thing happen.

SL should be all about fun and if you take it so serious that it affects your RL then you should seek help ASAP.

I have read all the Gor books and , yes he is a horrible author but the world he created is a wonderful fantasy.

As for the RPers and the cop...they are lucky the cop didn't tie them to a tree and taserd them...Cops have kinky fantasies as well I would think.

I am not saying all girls in Gor or all RL subs fall into these catigories, just observing the ones I have come across...
