Yes, the animations are quite interesting to play with :)

Oh, and all of this strikes me as Avatar Discrimination (the topic of the thread). Trout seems to be implying, by giving me a rating of 0.5, that furries cannot be slutty. I've thought long and hard about this and growl in Trout's direction.

We could always ask Trout for a combined slut rating on the photos from the kitty bed expedition. In my eyes you merited a very high rating (although it was just experimentation) ;-) rawr

Well they can be a factor, but I would agree that boots alone do not make . . what . . boots alone? Well of course, wearing just boots would be slutty. Um. I've confused myself and started drooling. Sorry.

Goodness, you two. Rent a tree, or a kitty carrier or something.

Hmmm. I wonder if Graph and Claire have started a chain reaction around here?

Wrong. Well, it's not wrong to growl, I probably deserve it for something, but it's not discrimination. I'd happily rate a furry if one were to send me a picture. You were a tiny little anime cat, which may have made you furry, but it did not make you slutty. If the scale rated furriness, you would have been way up there.

Actually, come to think of it, I had someone send me a series of pictures that included her as a furry, and as I recall, she got a very high rating. Up in the 9's. She was sluttier than you.

To a certain extent, I was trying to tie this conversation back to the thread topic. See, all this is on topic! I would then say.

*shifty eyes dance around* "yesh . . all on topic . . um . . avatar discrimination . . . yesh"

I'm going to get an alt. I'm going to name the alt:
"Sluttierthan Yu"

*roars (do leopards roar? I know lions roar, um . . leopardRoar!*

I feel, at this point, that the only way I could increase my rating is to examine Bradley closely and mimic him exactly, or more likely through using those pictures of us in bed and getting a rating from being there.

Anyone send you a picture with them in a bed with someone, Trout (to rate, I mean)?

I should hasten to point out, though, that it was the image of being naked but for boots.

Oh. Good. I hadn't really thought about it when I was looking around. Great, I scream.

*reawr!*

Is the scream worse than a hyenas?

It's actually quite fearsome.. not quite a scream.. but..not quite a roar.. it's higher pitched than a roar, and the sound really does kinda follow the spelling, maybe more accurately would be 'reeower.'starts higher pitched and quieter, and ends with a more roar-like, more full sound.

It's not a TOS violation to exclude furries because there is no real life law to prevent it.

If it said 'no blacks' or 'no gays' then I would expect an AR would be dealt with as it was discriminatory - and I doubt if a 'KKK roleplay area' would be tolerated either.

Most real life restaurants say 'no dogs' (although usually disabled assistance dogs are allowd), nobody seems to consider that discrimination.

Perhaps you could go along as a blind person's guide dog?

Im not quite sure what a KKK roleplay area would do. Burns crosses on their own lawns?
Doesn't seem like they would have much to rebel against on their own lands.....

Good. Thank-you. The leopards I have roar like that. A higher pitched start and then a fuller roar at the end. I wasn't sure if that was a leopard roar though, as I have never heard a leopard roar.

*reeowr*

((ok, I have a picture of a cat called "Leopard Cat", but I do not have a picture of a leopard. I do have a picture of a cheetah sunning himself in the sun, but not a leopard))

Who knows what those drunken, hateful idiots would come up with to protest. I think they would be shut down as a TOS violation pretty quickly, and I think there might be some bans on Nazi roleplay as well. I remember hearing something about a Nazi RP group being shut down, but that was a while ago. Their excuse: "We weren't actually killing any Jews in RL!" Morons.

Hey, when did I get dismissed?!

That was in reference to some post Trout made listing worthy flirtation peoples, I don't recall your name being on there. You might want to take that up with Trout! ;)

I agree that putting specific names looks like you are attacking Frank's. Sorry, Amaranthim, but there are other places as well that are not Furry Friendly.

There are many reasons why someone might choose to pu such a sign.
Lag, Ambience, hey, even discrimination.
While each venue has its right to decide for themselves, I agree that such a posting should follow wiht a reason. I went to one place (name withheld) which took the time to ask the you set you connection to 500kbs and doesnt allow bling. they follow with asserting everyones right to enjoy the place equally.

That being said, I have been to Frank's a few times. I have been there in wings as was my dancing partner at the time. We were not treated badly in anyway. I was spoken too well while awaiting my dance partner. when she arrived we found an open area to dance.
Often Frank's is full and even in other venues where it might be full, I will hide or remove my wings as courtesy.

I have not been to Frank's in a while. So my decision to stop gong ther is in no way based on their no Furry policy. However I do tend to hang out more in Furry freindly areas.
Keep in mind when deciding on who you want there, more people having fun means more tips. You can go no-fur if you want, but undersand when you close in 6 months cause your tired of paying so much, that your choice reduced your income that helps offset those costs.

We all make opportunity decisions.
Mine, I support Furry frriendly areas

*gets off soap box*

Ok, I'll be serious here.

I have been chased away from a live music concert once. I actually looked human at the time, though I wasn't, really.

I can't find a good picture of myself, but I'm the one with the orange hair:

I was chased out because of my avatar.

Soji- what was the deal with you avi? Why was he not acceptable? You'll notice the other night at Shiraz no one minded your kitty feet :)

Oh- I see - the wings!

Well- I have danced in many places in wings- in fact at Phat's like I said way at the beginning - even in horns and a tail!

I have a collection of wings and have never-ever been asked to remove them!

You had wings the last time we danced. And a tail and horns. I was able to suspend disbelief and have a wonderful dance. But I can see in a really crowded venue how they might be in the way and annoy people, because they stick out quite a bit. It seems to me that the right thing to do would be for the host or hostess to politely point out that you are blocking others' view or ability to move around freely and could you please pack up your wings. They shouldn't just ask you to leave right off the bat.
