The workaround is that if you want to post a link, use IMG tags. I know, IMG tags are for images, but it seems to work, at least in IE. I add both, so if I were going to post a link, I would do:


http://secondlife.com/

That gives both a clickable link and a cut and paste link so everyone can see it.

LL turned off the BBCode a while back. There used to be a note about that at the top of the forum, but I do not see that note any longer.

I do not believe the OS matters. Even so, I am using Windows.
The browser maters, but I am also using IE.

Oooh, that is what is supposed to be there. I do not see a red X or a link. Just a giant blank space. Oh. All those times I see blank spaces in posts . . they had links in them? Huh.

But regarding the OP, sure, people can do what they want with their land, and of course how they manage it will reflect back upon them in whatever shape or form their style effects others. The nice thing about SL -- there's lots of repetition and while there are places that do rise above others, there's always another place around the corner to satisfy most desires.

In the context of the thread, I felt your posting style was most appropriate. In the context of a thread about accepting people however they choose to be in SL, surely a Caledonian should be able to use their natural speech? My adoption of a more formal style in my quickly written response was not intended as a slight, but as respect to your RP.

They ARE a 1940's-era nightclub, yes? So a sign that stated 'no colored people allowed', while quite appropriate for the timeframe, would NOT generate a slew of 'oh my god they're racists!' comments? I could then easily make the argument that skin color, as well as its texture and pattern is purely a choice here in SL. Then I'd be shouted down with cries of 'that's not the same!'.

I know my smaller kitty form, the black domestic kitty, can use the couple dance balls, but I do not recall if I tried with my big kitty. I have seen a similar big kitty use the couple dance balls before, though. At the forum hangout.

My big kitties also come with dance animations built in, so they can dance by themselves.

Sounds interesting, need to see, I do. Wish I had been able to actually make it into SL again, later, on Friday night, and during the rest of the weekend.
