Hey All i did was call him a pig for making a pig comment if he'd taken the lumps he deserved, it would have ended there. He took it upon himself to quote cunumdrum, who hadn't quoted him. What am I supposed to do? Back down when someone decides they are going to say a ton of offensive things? Some people just love to be melodramatic about threads that get derailed. Not that I think Isabeau was, I think she was just making an honest observation. |

The way a female dresses can play into a crime happening to her. It's not always about a stranger or an acquaintance commiting rape. A boyfriend, a husband can come see she's wearing something he deems to be too skimpy and in a rage assaults her or even goes as far as raping her. It does happen.
This is why I stated before you can not discount the way a female dresses with a crime happening to her. But rape is a very sensitive area and maybe at times the way someone expresses themselves can be seen as wrong as in the case with Bigwig. Maybe wording it differently might of been better in a few instances.
But for the most part I understood what Bigwig was trying to say and I did agree with some of it. And no, this rare time I'm not doing it to go against the grain here, against some of you guys.

I don't use voice cause my mics entry is broken, but anyway I think i wouldn't use it... Just don't like to talk in English, it isn't my first language and my pronuntiation sucks ú_ù Anyway, I use to share my RL pics with closest friends, without prob... I own a blog and there I won't publish my RL pic, but dont have any problem on sending it by e-mail to known blogger-friends! Cheers!

I quite often look at peoples' profiles. I like to take avatars at face value - but once you've seen someone's RL photo then that's difficult, even where the avatar is a close replica of the RL.
