I have never perceived a clique here. But then again I am in my own little second world most of the time. All I know is the people here have always been nice to me,probably because I have always been nice to them.
One thing that does bother me though is the forum policing. However,that could be residue from running a forum myself for years. IMO when posters start dictating to other posters on how to post,it usually doesn't turn out good. Just my two cents.  Going back in my little world now. |

Exactly. I don't know what the big deal is in these forums. No one is forced to read or respond if they don't want to. As well, no one needs to agree or disagree with anything said. I also don't see anyone being disrespected outright or any foul languaged being used to or against anyone. Seems to me people here give and take equally so what's the problem then? There is also a mute button I believe, which comes in handy for those who feel they can't handle a discussion. Also, it's very easy to continue on without reading or responding in certain threads. This ultra-sensitivity is being overplayed and played-out way too much by a few here and there is no need for it. We neither need to be monitored nor is there an issue here that can't be handled by forum users themselves. Once again, we're suppose to be adults not kids so if you can't handle simple discussions, debates or just what's talked about then stay out, don't get your egos bruised because youre too damn weak minded. And I mean that in a nice way. Pretty much how I see it. That's why I get a bit amused over the Horrid ,Since Closed General Forum. It really isn't that bad. having one here would help the information part of the board immensely I think. Give us a place to throw penguins, eat panties and wear pies when the mood hits, and you can keep the other places in order, I think. If you are faint of heart, you don't have to venture into General Discussion. I've seen some boards where those forums are members only, you have to ask to be given access. _____________________

Actually it's a balmy 35 degrees right now. Right now it's pouring rain outside and it's suppose to get down to 46 degrees F tonight. Not one of those Southern California days we brag about. We'll just let them all keep believing what we show them in the movies rather than think we actually have real winter days from time to time. _____________________

I nearly went through last night to delete all my posts to this Forum and just use the technical ones. The reasons why I didn't included "why should I", there are a lot of them, I have a new build on, and at the end of the day if people don't know me by now then they never will.
If that means I am willingly excluding myself from the status quo then fine. The status quo is meh. /me calls time on all my penguins, telling them not to poop when they all waddle out, promising that I'll take them somewhere with a little ice plaza no matter what the weather. _____________________

me calls time on all my penguins Speaking of penguins... Recently I took my female alt to Sarah Nerds to get some freebie clothes and she immediately was hit upon by some horny creep. In my memory banks I remembered reading something once or twice and I simply responded "Penguin". From that point on no matter what he said I just kept saying "penguin". He was very confused but then he got frustrated and walked away. He began hitting on another woman there and I interrupted him again and continued to keep saying "penguin". He finally tp'd away. I was laughing so hard my sides hurt and it worked beautifully. I was told I have you to thank for that little gem, Cherry. I was always be grateful for it even if I never use it again. As for the clique debate. I think I'm done with it for awhile. Hopefully forever. It should go in the pile with "Is it Cheating" and "Ban Lines". _____________________
