You've done nothing of substance here in these forums other than bitch about the hangout being mentioned and complain in this thread about how it's a group of hangout regulars who are in the non-existent clique. My response was directly related to that. The reason you have a problem with people is that you acted like a jackass. You showed up, made snide comments to someone there and one of the house managers told you to knock it off or get out. You responded like a complete ass to her. The log that you posted shows that, and it shows that I was there as well to witness it, so your attempts to post the log out of context do nothing other than undermine your integrity. She kept her comments to IM. Yours were in open chat. In my experience, whenever someone says that something "clearly" proves their point, it is almost never as clear as they say it is.

This is basic, kindergarten type of stuff. You should have learned it at age 5. When you treat people poorly, they are not inclined to welcome you. Stop being a dick and it's likely that you will be made to feel more welcome and these notions you seem to harbor that some secret clique is out to get you will go away.

My attempts at "trolling" were poor because it wasn't trolling. You brought the subject up, I responded. If I hadn't been there or if you had presented an honest rendition of the facts in the other thread, I wouldn't have responded. I generally don't involve myself in these sorts of things.

Geesh Strauss. I did a quick view all posts for you, and scanned the preview. So many of your posts appear to be attacks on other people, in the guise of "correcting" or "responding in kind". So much vitriol. Is this how you are with everyone all the time? "Unbunch your panties"? Really? This is somehow constructive? No, don't answer that. I have a good idea of what you will say.

Got news for you. Trout is one of the most straight up kindhearted people here. If you've managed to rile him up, you've done almost the impossible.

IMHO, Trout's post are among the most thoughtful, non-confrontational and comprehensible ones here. In other words, he writes well and some of us ought to take a page out of his book. Not sure why you find his posts rambling and inconsistent. Try to read for content.
